Issue: Disclosure verification of debt
Subissue: Right to dispute notice not received
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX I received a letter from National Credit Systems out of Georgia stating that I owed debt and that I had 30 days to contact them to dispute it. I called them the day I received the letter and told them that I dont believe that the debt is valid, In addition I sent a letter stating that I require validation to include a copy of a signed contract with my signature and a disclosure of how much is the debt and how much were the fees. They have not gotten back to me with any information regarding the validation of my debt but they have already reported this unsubstantiated debt to my credit report. I have the right to dispute the debt and to have it validated. I feel that has been denied me as they have already reported this and it is already negatively impacted my credit.
