Consumer Complaint: In 2011 I left XXXX XXXX XXXX fleeing XXXX. I informed the manager that I was leaving and showed her the XXXX I took out on my XXXX. The manager told me that everything would be okay and that I didnt have to worry. I found out a few months later that the account was put on my credit. I was not aware that according to federal law you could break your lease in cases of XXXX XXXX and not be held liable so I let the debt sit on my credit for years. I left my lease 1 or 2 months early and I am unfairly being charged market rate rent for the entire lease term.

Consumer Complaint: National credit systems are stating that I owe a XXXX debt for a property. They have sent me a ledger of amounts. These amount are false. I have been trying to explain that i do not owe that amount. I am disputing the information. I have provided a reason of why i do not owe that amount and they continusly harass and will not show proof of the damages of property. They have XXXX base rent XXXX of XXXX and XXXX for XXXX. Damages for XXXX plus XXXX late payment charges of XXXX dollars a termination fee of XXXX. These are false when i spoke to XXXX and XXXX XXXX i explained to them the amount. XXXX told me that i was not at the property XXXX/XXXX/14 when in fact i moved out XXXX/XXXX/14. I paid rent that month and i also sent a notice for moving due to an incident at the home. They are not being fair. National credit systems sent me an 50 % offer off the XXXX in the amount of XXXX. I do not owe any of the amounts.National credit systems have ruined my life and my way of living. They are not trying to settle a reasonable amount and will not send proof of damages they claim to the property. They claim they have my record for that property but are unable to send me any information regarding proof of damages. How can National credit systems expect to receive a payment if they cant send evidence?. I do not owe this amount and i continue to express that. When i paid rent for XX/XX/2014 i do not know what they did with my payment. I have showed the property to the manager at that time when i left and there were no damages at that time. I called today and the XXXX says my bill is current. I need all proof of evidence.

Consumer Complaint: I have a collection account on my credit report that is full of inaccurate information. I have disputed and even attempted to resolve this collection account with the collection agency, but they were unwilling to settle. The inaccurate information I spoke of earlier is that : 1. this account is not mine. I was listed as a resident on this account. 2. The amount of the account is wrong. The amount on my credit report is twice the amount of the original debt 3. The account is past the statue of limitations so no legal action on this account can occur. the original reporting date is in 2011. As stated earlier I have disputed this account several times, and each time returned as valid debt. how can that be a valid debt with all of those inaccuracies. I also attempted to resolve the debt with the collection agency. This account is listed as an interest bearing account. Interest bearing account on a 6 year old zombie debt that is well past its statue of limitations. I have made every attempt to resolve this debt with no avail, any assistance in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing in regards to a {$600.00} check that XXXX cashed from me when I filled out a credit application at the XXXX and a phone call I received from their office on Monday of this week. I changed my mind about trying to get an apartment at the XXXX and wanted to get my check back. The most concise way to let you know what happened is outlined below : XX/XX/2017 Filled out credit application and left {$600.00} check in interest of an apartment. Have not signed a lease agreement XX/XX/XXXX Contacted the leasing manager at XXXX and told him I was n't interested in getting an apartment there after all and that I 'd like my {$600.00} check back. He told me he 'd have to talk to the management company because he did n't know if he could do that. Considering I had n't signed any agreements I did n't see a problem with me getting the money back. Week of XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the apartments and your office multiple times during the week of XX/XX/XXXX by phone and email and finally was able to speak to XXXX on XXXX. XXXX said the check would be sent shortly. Week of XXXX XXXX XXXX to speak to someone in your office all week with no success. XX/XX/2017 My family member spoke to XXXX in your office and followed up with an email restating everything that had been discussed. I also contacted my financial institution to let them know of this situation I was having. XX/XX/2017 XXXX replied to the email received and said the check was in the mail today. XX/XX/2017 Received and deposited refund check from your company for my {$600.00} due XX/XX/2017 My original check had been cancelled by my bank without my knowledge ( found this out in the call on Monday of this week ) XX/XX/2017 Received threatening and harassing phone call from your company saying I am being sent to Collections because my check was cancelled and I deposited refund check from you. Following is what happened during that call : The employee ( I did not catch her name but I have a phone number XXXX ) raised her voice and would n't let me speak and stated that they were sending me to collections for {$1200.00}. When I asked why collections was going to be contacting me for {$1200.00} she raised her voice and angrily stated that she did not owe me an explanation. When I said I was not trying to be confrontational and I just wanted a reason for this call and the amount you say I owe. The person calling said my original check had been canceled and she would not tell me what the extra {$600.00} was for. This person was very unprofessional and threatening. When I pressed further and asked why you would be asking for the money they sent me back she again said she did not owe me an explanation. I told the employee of yours that I would be more than happy to pay you back the {$600.00} ( and have paid that back which is documented in the attachments ) that I did not know had been refunded but I did n't understand the extra {$600.00} she still did not explain to me why they were trying to get the money back that they had sent me. I have proper documentation from the XXXX and XXXX that states that they did owe and paid me the {$600.00} refund.

Consumer Complaint: I lived at XXXX XXXX XXXX, Apartment XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, I received an email from the apartment stating that I owed XXXX to them for damages to the apartment. This debt was paid in full by money order on XXXX, one day before their deadline of XXXX. I received an email from XXXX XXXX on XXXX confirming that the amount owed was paid in full and never heard another word from them again. In XXXX of XXXX, seven months after paying off the debt, the apartment reported to a collection agency that I still owed XXXX. I did not discover this until i had my credit pulled. Not once ever have I been called, mailed, emailed or even remotely contacted about this debt. All attempts to contact the apartment management have failed and they do not respond to calls or emails. The worst thing about all of this is that not XXXX person from the debt collection agency has contacted me regarding this so called collection, and it has become a massive burden on my credit report. The apartment refuses to speak to me unless I can provide a money order receipt, which I do not have as this was three years ago and I have lost it. I do have their emails, however, confirming the debt was paid! But even that will not satisfy them.

Consumer Complaint: The original creditor XXXX charged illegal, exorbitant and unsubstantiated fees after I moved out of my apartment. XXXX actually owes me money from my deposit which they illegally withheld and assessed extra fees arbitrarily. The carpet was spotless upon moving out. They also charged me some random fee for carpet removal in excess of {$350.00} and provided no receipt for this work. They simply said that the work was done by onsite maintenance staff. When I asked them to provide proof that the maintenance staff was paid the {$350.00} for carpet removal, they could provide none. The maintenance staff is paid hourly and they could provide no proof of the fees. These fees are a punishment, completely fabricated and spurious. XXXX Owes me money. I demand that XXXX reimburses me for the carpet cleaning fee, the carpet removal fee and removes this collection from my credit record and restores my good rental history in XXXX at once.
