Consumer Complaint: My mother, XXXX XXXX, received a letter from National Credit Systems on behalf of XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX in XXXX, NC on XX/XX/2018 about a balance of {$2100.00}. Eventually, the balance was reported as a collection to both myself & my mother 's credit report. The issue with this is that neither my mom or I had ever stayed at XXXX XXXXXXXX. My brother/her son, XXXX XXXX stayed at the apartment. I have never received any correspondence from National Credit Systems about this matter, just my mother. On yesterday, she received an itemized invoice, filled with frivolous charges, including damages to the room & that the keys weren't turned in. He no longer lives at XXXX XXXX & he made sure everything was taken care of. He was the one financially responsible for this apartment, but yet isn't suffering any type of consequences. My mom & I sent NCS both a " Cease & Desist '' letter, as well as a letter to explain the situation, yet they are still reaching out to us.

Consumer Complaint: National Credit Systems has been attempting to collect a debt that belongs to my deceased father. I was my father 's caregiver and in XX/XX/XXXX he leased an apartment at XXXX XXXX. I had no financial liability to the lease or its expenses. However, the complex stated they needed the Social Security number of every adult over the age of XXXX residing in the apartment. Their lease had a clause that stated in the event of a death he would not be liable for the rest of the lease. My father passed away XX/XX/XXXX and I immediately vacated the premises on the weekend when the office was closed. I provided a letter and proof showing my father passed away, pictures of how the apartment was left, the keys, the forwarding address to be notified of the receipt and left in the drop box as I moved out of state. About a month later I received a bill stating I was responsible for the debt as if my father was my spouse. I contacted the management company located in XXXX and advised I was not his spouse and it was not a joint account I was only a resident on the lease. They refused to acknowledge that and reported to my credit and sent to National Credit Systems as if it was a joint account. I notified them this was not my debt and disputed with them and the Credit Bureaus several times. They continue to pursue me for my deceased father 's debt.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2012 a debt was placed with National Credit Systems Inc for a lease with XXXX XXXX apartments. It is a joint account with myself and one other person ( XXXX XXXX ). This is not our debt we never had a lease with the XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX has written a formal letter stating we do not owe this debt and the collection still refuses to remove the debt from our credit reports. I have copies of letters, certified mail receipts, and email correspondence proving efforts attempted to resolve this matter. For over 6 years this incorrect information has been on our credit reports preventing us from getting a place to live and ruining our credit,

Consumer Complaint: I was the guarantor for an unfinished and unsigned lease with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, FL, for XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. The guarantee, XXXX XXXX, was notified by the leasing office that she never signed the final and complete copy of the lease on XX/XX/XXXX ( and therefore never completed the lease in its entirety and could not move in until she finished her leasing paperwork. She never moved into or received keys to this property. National Credit Systems was attempting to collect the amount owed for an entire lease term from the guarantee and I, despite the fact that the lease was, according to the property, never completed and turned in and XXXX never lived there. Going off of what was sent to XXXX in the voicemail on XX/XX/XXXX, ( which I have proof of ), the guarantee and I assumed that no further action needed to be taken, as it was our understanding that we had not finished the proper leasing documents in the first place. The guarantee, XXXX XXXX, has since managed to have the charge removed from her credit report via XXXX complaint ( after submitting a claim with the CFPB herself, the complaint number is XXXX, I was also advised to do so myself by the credit bureau ) I am requesting that the company withdraw the claim from my credit report as well, because I am not responsible for any debt with this company in any way.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a victim of identity fraud. I have never had any apartments in my name. I've recently been working to get everything cleared up on my credit, I have filed an FTC report, a police report, I submitted numerous documents that have my correct information on it noting where I lived during the time of the fraud, a driver 's license and a copy of my social security card. I have disputed the accounts numerous times with XXXX and they will not help me at all. They keep saying I own the accounts when I do not own the accounts. The other bureaus have cleared my record and have been most helpful with getting this issue resolved, but XXXX does not care to help me. I've called multiple times and spoke with numerous representatives to no avail. I need these fraudulent accounts removed from my credit report, I can't afford a lawyer since I am a college student. I dont know how many times I have to dispute the accounts with XXXX. Please help I thought the ftc report would help prove my case, but XXXX doesn't care about that or my police report submitted. The accounts that have not been removed are National Credit Systems for {$90.00} and National Credit systems for {$11000.00} and NCC business services for {$3600.00}.
