Consumer Complaint: A while back, this company threatened myself, and my father verbally, stating that they were going to come after us and take away my fathers house. The man on the phone who refused to identify himself at the time also stated that he would make sure that I would be held responsible for not making the minimum payments which were too much for me to make at the time. I offered to send a lower amount in and he said that they would not take it. He went on again to say that he would make sure that they got their money if it meant taking my fathers house.

Consumer Complaint: Dear sirs, My name is XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX and I am writing to you on behalf of XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX XXXX has a bank account with KeyBank in XXXX, Ohio, which refuses to release the fund to her. Briefly about the background - XXXX XXXX XXXX had a sister, XXXX XXXX who passed away on XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX was declared the heir of her late sister 's funds on that very same bank account, as they were both joint owners of the account. She first requested the bank to close the account and send her the money in XXXX of XXXX. The bank ignored her requests and continues to do so to this day. It took XXXX XXXX XXXX a year and a half to get Keybank to respond to her numerous phone calls and faxes. After all that time XXXX XXXX XXXX of Keybank responded to her email, saying on XXXX XXXX XXXX that all her documents are in order and that " the account will be close in XXXX3 business days and the check will be mailed to the address on file. '' The check still has not arrived.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday ( XXXX/XXXX/16 ) I went to a Key Bank location close an account on behalf of my deceased mother. I had all the appropriate legal documents to close the account. The nice Key Bank employee informed me they could not close the account because the " system '' was down. The Key Bank employee had no idea when the system would be functional again. I called today ( XXXX/XXXX/16 ) and Key Bank 's " system '' is STILL down! So I still can close the account. The Key Bank employee I spoke to today ( XXXX/XXXX/16 ) says they STILL have NO IDEA when the system will be functional. Almost unbelievable that the system would be down this long!

Consumer Complaint: I would like to make an affordability complaint and refund of interest charges plus statutory interest and compensation due to these loans made available to me due to inadequate affordability assessment. I have only been made aware of this recently by reading on the internet web sites and I am persuing affordability complaints in the XXXX regarding my payday loans - full history is available on request. I was introduced to an off shore XXXX University XXXX based in the XXXX and was acceptable for a student loan through my XXXX school - office based in the USA : XXXX, Massachusetts XXXX, United States Phone : XXXX Fax : XXXX ; back in XXXX, I am not sure if this would be counted as a private student loan? Although I am a XXXX citizen since XXXX and resident, I had to get my cousin who is USA citizen to Co-sign for the loans x XXXX ( approx {$16000.00} x XXXX ) to pay for the education fees, which I am still currently paying off as priority, but with difficulty and do not wish to put this burden onto my cousin for falling behind on payments. This is causing severe financial distress and inconvenience, due to inadequate affordability checks prior to issuing the loans and also over the years this has not been checked. I was on forbearance for 4 years after graduating as I could not afford re payment and was unemployed during that time - XXXX - XXXX. I started repaying from around XXXX. No affordability checks were made prior to granting the loan, nor when I started to repay. The student loans were directly payable to the XXXX school from the American student loan company, so I had no access to the funds in any way to cover other educational expenses, which I had to take control of myself. I am also not happy with the customer service as I previously made a payment and I tried to delay it, but they banked the check, just to make me overdrawn and had to pay extra bank charges. Over the last 10years or so, I have been in considerable financial distress due to this and I had to take out many payday loans to cover my student loans as priority as my cousin in the USA is the co-signor and did not want it to affect their credit history, and everyday expenses. I had to continually borrow from many lenders to get by every month and deepened and spiralled into mounting debt, with financial XXXX. I therefore, as fair resolution, request a refund of interest charges plus accruable interest and compensation the way they have handled my loans disbursements without adequate affordability checks and credit file removed from the credit history.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2016, I spoke to XXXX in the Late Stage Collections Dept. at Key Bank. I brought up the five following topics for discussion. He told me that his supervisor, XXXX, had the authority to address these topics and that she would call me " tomorrow, '' XX/XX/2016. The five subjects were : 1 ) Participation in the NYS Attorney General 's mediation program before the filing of a foreclosure action ; 2 ) my request for a stay of any legal action and forbearance of any legal process for some time for a stay of any legal action and forbearance of any legal process for some time, because 2 3/4 months had been " lost '' because of XXXX, Division Manager of Consumer Collections XXXX misrepresentation regarding the applicability of HAMP, and I had just received a loan modification application from XXXX on XX/XX/2016, and I needed to complete two tax returns as part of this application and would be without a car until at least XX/XX/2016 and would need some time to complete these tax returns and the application ; 3 ) sale of the loan to XXXX or XXXX to take advantage of loan modification and extension programs similar to HAMP and UP, since these programs expire on XX/XX/2016 ; 4 ) stay of the notice of acceleration letter ; 5 ) how we should handle adjustments to the loan account for counterclaims against Key Bank. I did not receive a phone call from XXXX on XX/XX/2016, as I had been promised by XXXX. I called on XX/XX/2016 and requested to speak to XXXX. I was told XXXX was unavailable to speak. I left a phone message for her to call me and, if I was not by the phone, to leave a message with the best time - or even better - a specific time I can reach her and I will call her at the time she specifies. I did not receive a phone call on XX/XX/2016 and have yet to receive a phone call from XXXX. The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act requires responsive communication from Key Bank. I will be sending a copy of this complaint to Key Bank Chairwoman and CEO XXXX and XXXX, Division Manager of Consumer Collections XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: This is in regards to my previous complaint with Key Bank regarding transactions from XXXX. You keep denying my complaint because you say I made a phone call authorizing the transactions. I NEVER MADE A PHONE CALL TO YOU!!! First of all, I 'm deaf and the only way I could have called you is on a relay service. Secondly, I never use relay services because they 're not user-friendly in my opinion. That 's why I only use text to talk with people. Much easier. I really am shocked that you 're making a horrible situation worse by being so difficult. Also, I 've been doing a lot research on this so called company. It 's not too difficult to see this is just a scam. Do a XXXX search on XXXX and the first thing that pops up is XXXX scam!!! They 're an illegal entity. They 're supposedly a stock broker of some sort but they 're not registered anywhere. I urge you to contact the SEC at XXXX or the CFTC at XXXX. They will both tell you the same thing I just did. So based on this alone, the charges from XXXX should be null and void. They should never have been able to go through in the first place!

Consumer Complaint: Key Bank does n't have legitimate credit card customer service. I 'm missing a credit for XXXX on my statement, and do n't know why, and they 're not able to legitimately explain as to why they 're are several debits and credits on my account and where are they coming from. My letter I was supposed to get got lost in the mail or something or they never sent it. It 's XXXX credits for XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX for XXXX from XXXX. They should at least be able to proactively explain why the charges were n't reversed and why you should legitimately received a credit. But I just keep getting transferred between disputes and customer service and nobody seems to care that the proper adjustments that needed to be made as well. A complaint has been submitted at the customer service level and corporate level, but they need to look into this issue and get it resolved ASAP
