Consumer Complaint: Multiple times over the passed few weeks my Key Bank account has been " reportedly '' overdrawn even though I 've had the money in my account. Today is the third instance of this action happening. As of XXXX XXXX the night of the XXXX XXXX XXXX 2017, my account balance was {$10.00}. I made a cash deposit of {$200.00}, bringing my balance to {$210.00}. I immediately withdrew {$60.00} cash which would take my balance down to {$150.00}. I had a check coming out the next day for {$120.00}, which would take my balance to {$120.00}. Now mind that after making my cash deposit I had more than enough in there to cover the check which had n't yet hit my account. My account balance is now $ XXXX because Key Banks money stealing practices try to make it look as if the deposit happened after the check had already hit my account. I have account balances and statements proving tothe money was in my account before the check was there. They charged me a {$39.00} overdraft fee and for no reason and they 've done it to me multiple times over the passed few weeks. Please help to stop this fraud operation they are conducting at Key.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX , I began an application for an auto loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX . I had previously shopped around for good rates and the best offers from banks and credit unions because I only wanted my credit ran the one time for the loan. I received my Pre approval letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX with a loan on XXXX on XXXX XXXX . I began my car search and came into multiple dealerships with my preapproval letter. Within these visits, I turned down vehicles because they did not fit into my loan amount. I was offered numerous times to run my credit again to see if I could get a higher loan. I then refused, stating that I did not want my credit ran again because it will knock my credit and I want to do my loan through XXXX and XXXX only. After hearing running my credit would be my only option, I left the dealership because once again, I did not want my credit ran again. The said dealership is XXXX XXXX in XXXX , MI and I 'm sure they can attest to how persistent I was on to not run my credit. After I turned down that offer I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX MI. I found a vehicle I loved, had great service, and all in all a good car buying experience. When I was at the dealership I purchased my vehicle through XXXX at the price of {$23000.00}. After I finished speaking to my salesman, he referred me to the finance department to finish paperwork. While I was in there I provided my preapproval letter through XXXX . At the time I had mentioned once again that it was the only bank I wanted to go through. He began asking questions that sounded much like a credit application to me, so once again I stopped him and confirmed to that I had already had my credit ran and XXXX was the only bank I was going through. He reassured me it was just questions that had to be asked again to make sure all the information between XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX matched. He even called XXXX on speaker in the room so we could confirm the paperwork went through and that my interest rate was correct. We proceeded to finish the paperwork. At both dealerships I did have someone with me and can witness my reoccurring statement of not having my credit ran. A few days later, I began receiving emails that my credit had a few hard inquires. I looked them up and saw that XXXX had been added regarding loans I had not applied for nor did I give permission for my credit to be ran to apply for them. One of the creditors that showed up was from XXXX XXXX XXXX , who had assured me they were not running my credit again. No one aside from XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX had my information to run my credit so I know that the XXXX other Inquiries made on XXXX XXXX , came from XXXX XXXX XXXX . Once I saw these inquiries, I immediately contacted XXXX and discussed with them how my credit was ran without my permission. They were very helpful and immediately started working towards resolving this issue because they know that I only applied through them as well. I also called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX department and left a voicemail for the man that finished my paperwork. About a week went by and I received no correspondence from them. I then decided to go a step further and then emailed the president of XXXX XXXX XXXX . A day later received an email, not from the president, but just another employee I imagine. I asked if they could please have my credit inquires from them disputed because I did not give them permission. I received no response. I emailed them back and asked them to respond or I would have to dispute the charges against them on my own. Although I did get a response shortly after, it was just a denial that they had ran my credit without my permission and that they have the right to do so. I corrected them, saying I understood that they could check my credit with XXXX but not run it through other banks and apply for loans I did not need without my permission. I have n't received word back yet. A few days later I received mail from XXXX XXXX saying I had been denied a loan for the amount of the vehicle I purchased from XXXX XXXX XXXX . I have not ever applied for a loan from XXXX , and it was made the same day the XXXX XXXX XXXX and one other loan had been put on my credit report ( XXXX total, on XXXX XXXX ) I am still expecting to receive a denial letter from the third bank I never applied for as well. I have repeatedly asked XXXX XXXX XXXX to try to dispute those three inquiries made on XXXX XXXX , but I 'm afraid it is being pushed aside and not being taken care of. They have now repeatedly stated that they only ran it through one bureau and I have told them repeatedly that that was not my problem, and the problem is that they had applied for loans in my name that I did not give my permission to. Even though they have been fraudulent and are still denying running my credit, I still only ask that the inquires be removed as that was my only concern all along. I 've called XXXX and they could n't help because it happened at the dealership, and I have n't contacted Key bank because of lack of contact information.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX , 2017 , I timely paid {$300.00} against the balance of this card. The payment was made electronically from my XXXX XXXX bank account. On that date, I learned that fraudulent debits had been placed against my XXXX XXXX account. See Complaint Number XXXX for further details. On XXXX XXXX , 2017 , while I was in a meeting, I received a message from Key Bank about my account. When I was able to access my computer, I saw that the payment had been reversed by XXXX XXXX . The reversal was a mistake on the part of XXXX XXXX due to the fraudulent debits, as discussed in the C omplaint Numbe XXXX above. I went to XXXX XXXX and met with my banker and the Manager, who elevated the problem to the District Manager . There are no Key Banks in the State of Florida so I could not go to a Key Bank and their office was closed when I called on Friday afternoon. I called Key Bank again on Saturday and was told that I should make a payment and then call back to have the fees and interest reversed and the account corrected. Since I could only make a payment online, and no longer had a checking account to use due to the XXXX XXXX problem, I had to make arrangements to use another account. I made those arrangements and made the payment again to Key Bank on XXXX XXXX , 2017 . I then called Key Bank to have the fees and interest reversed. I was told by " XXXX '' that they could reverse the late fee as a one time courtesy, but would not reverse the interest because it was not their fault. I was also told that they could not correct the account to reflect that I paid timely. Any reporting of this matter to the credit bureaus is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Further, Key Bank failed to timely notify me of the reversal. In addition to the late fees and interest, I have now spent additional billable time trying to resolve this matter.

Because of overdraft fees, I had a debt of {$400.00} and they would not accept any other deposits [ to the account ] but, they did take my federal and state tax returns, those checks were deposited XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$3900.00} for federal and {$290.00} for state. Consumer Complaint: I calle d KeyBank at the end of XX/XX/XXXX for a def errment. The deferrment was approved. I have sent in the agreement four tim es, and they have only gotte n one of them, and will not accept it because it was cut off. I called yesterday to confirm receipt of the agreement, and she said she only got the one that they can not accept. If I am sending all of them to XXXX XXXX XXXX , how have you only received one of the four? I fe el as if they are forcing me into losing my car, and I am doing everything that I possibly can to ensure this is taken care of.

Th e agreement is due today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and I am worried that they are going to claim they did not get it, or that they can not accept it.

Consumer Complaint: First, the standard complaint questions do not accurately describe my situation. I hope you can still help me. I had a bank execution entered against me. I have been told the bank did not do the execution properly. The execution was dated XXXX /17. It was served on Key Bank on XXXX /17. It was mailed to me on XXXX /17. The letter I received from Key Bank did not explain the proper process for filing an exemption claim form in CT. Instead of telling me to fill out the exemption claim form and take it back to Key Bank within 15 days to prevent my money from being taken, the letter told me to contact the State Marshal who served the bank execution on me. The letter did not mention that if I took the exemption claim form to the bank, it would mail it to the court and a hearing would be scheduled. The letter did not mention anything about certain monies, such as Social Security, being protected from execution. I did n't understand all of the papers attached to the letter. Finally, although the funds in my account were all from Social Security, the bank is charging me a {$100.00} service fee and the Marshall is charging me a fee for serving the execution. I contacted legal aid and was told to file an exemption claim form with the court. I have a hearing scheduled XXXX XXXX , 2017 and expect to get my Social Security back. I do not know if I will get the service fee or Marshall fee returned but both should be returned.
