Consumer Complaint: Complaint regarding Chase Bank 's Misleading Practices and Unfair Treatment I am writing to file a complaint against Chase Bank regarding their misleading practices and unfair treatment. I was provided with incorrect information by Chase bank when I opened a savings account on XX/XX/2023, which resulted in me missing out on a promised {$900.00} bonus. Here are the key points of my complaint : - False Advertising : Chase bank email advised me that I could open a savings account and receive a {$900.00} bonus. The condition was to deposit {$15000.00} within 30 days of opening the account and maintain it for 90 days. However, XXXX later informed me that the money had to be deposited XXXX days right after opening the account, they just refuse to recognize the 30 days time frame. On XX/XX/XXXX, my account surpassed XXXX, so I suppose to receive the bonus 90 days from XX/XX/XXXX, however, the customer service insist I will not and they start to count the time on XX/XX/XXXX. - Inadequate Customer Service : The customer service lead, XXXX, refused to provide any further remedy or resolution. Despite my explanation and concerns, XXXX continuously assured me that I would not meet the requirements for the bonus. He also refused to further escalate my case. - Unfair Interest Rate : Chase bank did not offer a fair interest rate on my savings account. I did not receive a competitive rate compared to other financial institutions. During the time of my saving deposit, I have only received a interest payment of XXXX USD. - Opportunity Cost : By keeping my money with XXXX for the required XXXX period, I incurred an opportunity cost. I could have invested the funds elsewhere, potentially generating a better return on investment. I find Chase Bank 's practices to be deceptive, resulting in financial loss and a lack of trust in their services. I believe that these practices violate consumer protection regulations and request that the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX investigate this matter thoroughly. I have attached any relevant documentation and evidence to support my complaint. I would appreciate your prompt attention and assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, XXXX

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: I opened an account with chase bank via Amazon for a credit card in XXXX. My credit report shows that I missed or was late on a payment in XX/XX/XXXX and I have tried repeatedly on the phone through XXXX XXXX through and Chase Bank and at the latest as of today, on the phone with the supervisor to get that Corrected. I was never told in all my investigation that this was for my Amazon account and not my Southwest account. I am suggesting that Chase Bank has been unable to verify which card Ive been calling about and therefore that there is bank error in reporting. Ive never missed payments. My entire credit report shows zero late or missing payments. Other than this one that is allegedly reported. Today XXXX when I called the credit reporting division of Chase Bank who says he is the supervisor says there is nothing he can do about it. I am suggesting the one issue on my entire report could potentially be a bank error and have asked to have it removed as I am current and have no other Late payments in my credit history.

Issue: Problem with a lender or other company charging your account
Subissue: Transaction was not authorized
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received both a text and email from Chase confirming if I authorized a charge or not on my debit card. The charge was from XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$120.00}. I have never heard of this business. Not only that, but I also never use my debit card except at the ATM. I clicked No and immediately tried logging into my Chase account. My Chase account had been locked, so I called Chase 's fraud department. I was asked to verify my identity and found out there were XXXX charges for the same company for a total of {$340.00}. The XXXX XXXX also went over my account details and found out that an email, phone number, and android device were added to my account that were not mine. An unknown phone number is still on my account with area code in XXXX. I've never even been to XXXX. The phone login from a XXXX device still shows on my account. I've only used Pixel phones for the past several years. Moreover, this business XXXX XXXX XXXX does not even show up on XXXX Maps XXXX So, Chase credited my account and then on XX/XX/2023, I received a letter in my Chase account stating that they found the charge to not be fraud and that " We have found that the transaction ( s ) was processed according to the information you provided or was authorized. '' and that they will remove the {$340.00} on or after XX/XX/2023. I don't understand why as even my account shows that there was someone who illegally accessed my account. I called them on XX/XX/XXXX after receiving that letter asking to escalate and they said the claim was closed and I had to fax in information that shows this was fraud. They couldn't tell me what information I needed to provide but I faxed them everything I could also on that same day. There has been no new information since.

I then on XX/XX/XXXX called and formally. altered t this fact bc I had not seen the reversal. I filed the complaint. On. XX/XX/XXXX Chase determined that. my claim. was false and that they have determined in their investigation. that bc it was a tap withdrawal and I had my card-I was the one that. took it out. Consumer Complaint: An SBA loan was deposit on my Chase account. After that Chase close my account and came to a conclusion that the SBA loan was not available for me. After closing my account supposedly they will sent the loan back to the SBA, but that never happened. I contact Chase, not only by phone, but also physically at one of their branches, but nobody was able to give me any information or solution to this matter. I have been in contact with the SBA customer service, because I received email and letters from them charging monthly payment plus interest fee, for a money I never received and it was supposed to be returned by Chase. As a mention before the SBA confirmed that they never received the money. The bank is ignoring all my requests from this matter and they still havent returned the money.
