Consumer Complaint: I've had this account since XX/XX/XXXX and have tried resolving it with several companies, the last is named IC System Inc. It's regarding XXXX demanding payment of an early termination fee in the amount of {$130.00}. I have asked that I be provided documentation of a two year agreement with XXXX, and as a result only received a copy of my last bill. Upon receipt of a " Collection Notice '' dated XX/XX/XXXX from ICS, I placed a call and spoke with XXXX XXXX about resolving the matter and my paying the amount owed {$180.00} ( minus the early termination fee ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed check # XXXX with an attached letter stating my paying the balance " in full '' and would close my account. ICS returned the check stating XXXX refusal to accept the amount submitted. My account was then submitted to the credit bureau 's. I've disputed this debt with XXXX on two occasions because ICS nor XXXX has been able to provide any documentation indicating a two year agreement between XXXX and I. After receiving XXXX 's first letter ( XXXX XXXX ) stating, " the information you disputed has been verified as accurate '', I assumed they had recovered some form of agreement from XXXX, so I responded by letter asking them to provide me a copy their supporting document ( s ) which assisted in their decision. Again, I provided XXXX with a letter and supporting documents of all correspondence from all parties since this account began in XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX, ICS, XXXX XXXX and XXXX. The results from my request from XXXX was the same result, ruling in favor of ICS while not providing me any supporting documentation from their investigation. With all my attempts to resolve this matter, I think XXXX and XXXX has not offered proper due diligence in their investigation and is casually concluding their results.

Consumer Complaint: IC Systems is reporting incorrect information because this is NOT my account. I asked them to validate the account under a previous CFPB complaint and they sent me a number of bills on behalf of XXXX that has an address I did not reside at with the incorrect spelling of what I assume supposed to be my name. The bill reflects a XXXX XXXX, NOT ME. I spoke to XXXX and advised this was not my debt and the woman from the XXXX Executive Office hinted at me creating multiple accounts with them and told me that it was NOT fraud so it wouldn't be reported as that. She furthermore, advised she was going to speak with her finance manager and NEVER called me back. What was your Method of Verification IC Systems? I am needing to know : - The person 's name they verified the dispute with. - The documentation used to verify the dispute

Consumer Complaint: I received a " Collection Notice '' from IC Systems ( who I'm sure you are familiar with by now ) trying to collect a balance of {$6600.00}, listing XXXX XXXX as the creditor. I have never been a XXXX XXXX customer ( I have always been an XXXX XXXX XXXX customer ) and never had an account, therefore I immediately knew this was a fraudulent notice. It is likely that IC System obtained my mailing address due to a recent online loan application I filed in order to refinance my home. ( I received other false pieces of communication from multiple companies requesting information following this online application. ) As a XXXX of XXXX and XXXX at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I am well aware of these types of predatory practices. Yet, after a few XXXX searches on IC System it appears this company has been wreaking havoc on people for years. I was absolutely appalled to read through the discussion forums and posts from individuals who have shared their personal experiences trying to work with this company. I'm sure many of them, in reality, had no debt and were victims of vague language, and fear-based, predatory practices to coerce them to divulge personal information and payment. Many noted they paid their debts directly, assuming their debt was legitimate. When IC Systems lists creditors as companies like XXXX or XXXX, I'm sure the percentage of people who actually had those accounts in the past is very high ( and therefore they would be inclined to pay to protect their credit ). The companies uses scare tactics and preys on uneducated consumers who don't understand their rights or these scam marketing tactics. This is a clear violation of consumer rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), which prohibits debt collectors from using unfair or deceptive practices to collect from consumers.

Consumer Complaint: Since XXXX of last year Ive been trying to get duplicate debts removed from my account. Ive had to wait but recently I paid of one debt and it still appears on my report and thats through IC System. I have also initiated a payment plan through XXXX XXXX. I noticed that since my debt was sold it is being reported twice and this in turn has shown discrepancies on my credit report. I am asking that this debt collectors reporting validate that they are collecting on the debt and if the debt has been sold for them to remove it from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Some company named IC System just reported a {$440.00} collection account on my credit report. Before this account showed up on my report, I was not contacted in any way by IC System. If this was a legitimate collection, they are supposed to contact me first with a 30-day notice of my right to dispute, and give me 30 days to address the item, before they report it on my credit report. However, I was never given that opportunity. This is a violation of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
