Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, I applied online for an Apple Card. The advertising said that the inquiry wouldn't affect my credit score, but accepting the offer would. On XXXX XXXX, I checked my XXXX XXXX account and XXXX lowered my credit score by 5 points due to an inquiry by GS Bank. I did accept the offer. However, XXXX is lowering my credit score due to the inquiry, not due to opening the account. I contacted Apple Card customer service and they couldn't help. I have attached a copy of the advertising language and the XXXX explanation of the credit score inquiry as being due to GS Bank Inquiry.

Consumer Complaint: I called and closed three of my CDs with Marcus by Goldman Sachs on XX/XX/2021. Two accounts totaling approximately $ XXXX were closed and the funds were returned to me. It should be noted that promised wire transfer dates were not adhered to and required my constant follow up. As of XX/XX/2021 a third account has not transferred on promised dates even with follow up on my part. XXXX is will promptly open an account but will does not respond well to requests for account closures. I had a medical emergency that I required my funds for and XXXX was completely unsympathetic and unsupportive of needs. Never again will they receive a single XXXX of my funds.

Consumer Complaint: Since XX/XX/2020 to Present I have been dealing with fraud on my credit card. Goldman has changed my card number over 5 times and I still get hit with the transactions. I have spent hours on the phone with Apple card support, over the last few months trying to rectify the situation. Merchants are able to charge my new card number after Apple card support changes my card. Customer service and I have confirmed that Goldman is forwarding the transactions but are unable to stop it. There is a complaint in since XX/XX/2020 with no resolution. As of tonight I have been changed another fraudulent charge.

Consumer Complaint: Made several in-app game purchases using the credit card. Learned recently that the game was hacked also noticed several duplicate charges on my credit card. Reached out to the game provider and app store and they did not refund me. Requested credit card to dispute all such transactions. They disputed only a fraction of transactions up until XX/XX/2019, whereas the Transactions and duplicate charges go way back to XX/XX/2019.

Consumer Complaint: I have reason to believe that Marcus by Goldman Sachs is engaging in predatory lending. The reason for my beliefs is that I recieved a loan from them a couple of years ago. At the time they gave me the loan they did not tell me that they were going to charge me an outrageous amount for the interest. I have paid over {$5800.00} on a XXXX loan and I still owe them XXXX. I have communicate to them that I am having diffuculties making the payment they want of XXXX a month and instead been paying XXXX a month. The have retaliated by damaging my credit to the point of my credit being unfavorable. Can you please assist me with getting them to lower the interest on my loan and allowing me to pay XXXX month due to the pandemic. Thank you.
