Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I am listing accounts below that have been reported inaccurately on my credit report. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. I demand to see Verifiable Proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature on it ) of the accounts listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit.

Consumer Complaint: After going over my monthly consumer report, I've noticed information that doesn't belong to me. I sent the creditor a debt validation letter regarding my concern in which they not responded. Experian is reporting a collection account that doesn't belong to me nor is there verification of this debt. I am asking that Experian investigate the inaccurate information listed in my dispute letter. The negative information is impeding my ability to obtain any relationships with potential lenders or institutions. I am aware that in order for any account or information to be reported to my consumer report must have my consent. I never gave the creditors the permission to share my personal information which is against my right to privacy. By reporting this inaccurate information, Experian is violating the duty to report maximum possible accuracy. Violations committed by Experian : 15 U.S. Code 1681b - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 15 U.S. Code 1681 - Congressional findings and statement of purpose 15 U.S. Code 1681e - Compliance procedures 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules of construction 15 U.S. Code 1681i - Procedure in case of disputed accuracy 15 U.S. Code 1666 - Correction of billing errors
