Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, Experian, and XXXX data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.

Consumer Complaint: I am listing accounts below that have been reported inaccurately on my credit report. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. I demand to see Verifiable Proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature on it ) of the accounts listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I disputed inaccurate information for the account XXXX XXXX Credit XXXX of XXXX with the creditor. Accordingly, as per the FCRA the creditor is required to conduct a reasonable investigation and modify or delete the disputed information as I requested before the end of the 30 day period of the date in which they received my original claim. Upon my dismay, the creditor failed to conduct a reasonable investigation for the dispute. As attached you can see the inconsistencies between the 3 credit bureaus. Experian is reporting a duplicated account for the same creditor and the same balance twice. However, theres several inaccurate information between the two reports for the same credit account. The account is reporting as potentially negative/ delinquent/past due 120 days when the account is currently positive and paid as agreed. The last active date reported was XX/XX/2023. The monthly payment is reflecting a monthly payment of {$250.00} and a balance of {$3000.00}. The creditor is in violation of my FCRA rights and is committing double jeopardy therefore negatively impacting my credit score.
