Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: I trust this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my ongoing concern and frustration regarding the presence of fraudulent items on my credit report, despite my previous attempts to rectify this matter. I have recently submitted a second dispute to address these issues, and I am disappointed to note that the fraudulent items persist in my credit file. I initially became aware of the fraudulent activities and promptly reported them to your bureau. I followed the necessary procedures, including submitting supporting documentation and filing a police report, as required by your dispute resolution process. Despite these efforts, it appears that the fraudulent items remain on my credit report, negatively impacting my creditworthiness. Enclosed with this letter, you will find copies of my previous correspondence, dispute letters, the police report, and any other supporting documentation submitted during my initial and subsequent disputes. It is disheartening to see that the fraudulent items continue to tarnish my credit history, making it difficult for me to secure loans, credit cards, and other financial products. I understand the importance of a thorough investigation in cases of identity theft or fraud, and I appreciate your commitment to ensuring the accuracy of credit reports. However, I urge you to expedite the review process and take swift action to remove the fraudulent items from my credit file. I am well aware of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), and I believe that timely resolution is crucial to my financial well-being. I kindly request that you conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matters raised in my previous disputes and take the necessary steps to rectify the inaccuracies promptly. I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and request that you keep me informed of the progress of the investigation. I am asking for your assistance to remove these fraudulent items in my credit file : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: The information provided during this dispute process was thought to be accurate, under the assumption that your bureau was diligently reporting the theft of my identity. However, it has come to my attention that you are erroneously reporting the fraudulent accounts on the credit report of the victim, perpetuating the damage caused by the identity theft. I was the victim and XXXXm not sure why the CRA is not complying with the law. The other bureaus have followed suit. Im very confused why this one seems to ignore my requests. Furthermore, I would like to bring to your attention that other credit bureaus were able to confirm the fraudulent nature of these accounts and successfully completed their investigation by removing the fraudulent entries. The stark contrast in the resolution processes among bureaus raises serious concerns about the credibility and reliability of your bureau 's investigation procedures. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXPLEASE DELETE!!! XXXX and XXXX have already removed this account from their records. There was an error present & they were able to find it. I'm confused how you've verified it while the other bureaus have removed. Please delete this from my file. It is inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or unverifiable. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXPLEASE DELETE!!! Please delete this from my file. It is inaccurate, erroneous, incomplete or unverifiable. I demand an immediate and thorough reevaluation of this dispute, with a focus on conducting a valid verification process in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). It is imperative that you correct the inaccuracies on my credit report and provide written confirmation of the resolution at the earliest. The continued refusal to rectify this situation is not only a violation of my rights as a consumer under the FCRA but also an egregious oversight that perpetuates the damage caused by identity theft. I insist on your urgent attention to this matter and expect a resolution that reflects the severity of the situation.

Consumer Complaint: I exercised my legal right under the FCRA and asked Experian, the CRA, on multiple occasions to investigate an inaccuracy to remove the inaccurate unknown name from credit profile ( XXXX XXXX ) and to update with the correct legal name ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). The requests were made to representatives on various occasions on their recorded line with formal written requests made on XX/XX/23, XX/XX/23, and XX/XX/23. ( see attached ) Experian did not provide any proof of verification for the name they have on my credit file. I was assured that the illegal name they are using to identiify me would be removed and updated with my legal name. They have not investigated, nor have they provided me any updates to reflect my legal name. I was instructed to mail in a utility bill, drivers license and social security card as proof of my identity and name. The items were sent, but Experian did not update. It has been over 3 months since my original requests for correction were made. I am in the process of preparing legal action which will seek damages allowed to me under law. I am requesting again that they correct my file immediately and send me my updated credit report reflecting my correct legal name. Maintaining an inaccurate unverifiable name, which does not belong to me, has placed my personal data at great risk.

Consumer Complaint: I regret to inform you that I can not accept your decision to dismiss my identity theft claim by attributing it to an error or a misrepresentation of material fact. It raises serious concerns as to how and why you possess the authority to determine what constitutes a material fact. It's worth noting that your role does not grant you the powers of a judge or jury, nor any inherent right to make such determinations. I was the victim & I'm not sure why the CRA is not complying with the law. The other bureaus have followed suit. Im very confused why this one seems to ignore my requests. According to the guidelines set forth by the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ), when an FTC identity theft report has been filed with a law enforcement agency ( which the FTC itself is ), the protocol is to adhere to the law and investigate accordingly. XXXX XXXX XXXX FRAUD, PLEASE DELETE!!!! XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, PLEASE DELETE!!!!!! XXXX XXXX XXXX FRAUD, PPLEASE DELETE!!!!! I am willing to grant you one final opportunity to process my request concerning my identity theft. Failure to do so will compel me to seek legal recourse through the judicial system. In such a scenario, you will be held accountable for the damage caused to my reputation, credit, and the emotional distress I have endured throughout this ordeal. It is highly likely that what constitutes a material fact will become abundantly clear during legal proceedings, and you may be required to compensate me for your negligence. I implore you to take immediate action to resolve this matter within the five-day timeframe mandated by law. Please manage your responsibilities accordingly.
