However, when researching XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I found that they do not hold the required Third Party Debt Collector license from the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner as mandated by Texas Finance Code Chapter XXXX for debt collectors operating in the state of Texas XXXX As I am a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX, any debt collection activity conducted in my state of residence must be done by properly state-licensed collectors according to the Texas Debt Collection Act. Since XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the required state debt collections licensure in Texas XXXX I formally dispute this tradeline on my credit report and request that it immediately be removed. Reporting of illegitimate, disputed or inaccurate information to credit reporting agencies violates federal law, specifically the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Please investigate this disputed account from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and remove it from my credit files immediately due to the lack of proper state licensure.
