Consumer Complaint: I reached out, via certified mail to the credit bureau, on XXXX and XXXX, regarding suppression on incorrection and fraudulent information. They have no responded either times, which is in direct violation with my rights. The FCRA states that credit bureaus are legally obligated to suppress information identified by a consumer as resulting from identity theft upon receiving an identity theft report. This suppression must occur within four days of receiving the necessary documentation from the consumer. Upon receiving an identity theft report, a CRA must block the reporting of any information in the consumer 's file that the consumer identifies as resulting from identity theft. Collins v. This block must be implemented within four days of the CRA receiving proof of the consumer 's identity, a copy of the identity theft report, the identification of the information resulting from the alleged identity theft, and a statement by the consumer affirming that the disputed information does not relate to any transaction by the consumer. Osada v. Experian Info. Solutions, Inc.. If a CRA fails to block the reporting of such information, the consumer may have a cause of action under the FCRA XXXX v. Experian Info. Solutions Inc..

Consumer Complaint: I, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, am a natural living person. I am writing to dispute certain information present on my credit report, which I believe is inaccurate. This dispute is based on the provisions outlined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including 15 U.S. Code 1681a, 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2, and 15 USC 1681a 2 ( A ) ( i ). According to 15 U.S. Code 1681a, the definition of a consumer report excludes reports containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the reporting entity. It is evident that the information in dispute falls under this exclusion. Furthermore, 15 U.S. Code 1681s-2 emphasizes the responsibility of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies. The law stipulates that furnishers must provide accurate information and prohibits reporting with actual knowledge of errors. In addition, 15 USC 1681a 2 ( A ) ( i ) supports my claim by specifying exclusions from the definition of a consumer report, highlighting the relevance of the disputed information to this exclusion. I am also placing a FTC reference number- # XXXX so that you can verify the inaccuracy of fraud that is placed on my credit report. Now based on the provisions mentioned above, I kindly request an investigation into these discrepancies and urge prompt action to rectify the inaccuracies. As per my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I also request that you provide me with a written explanation of the results of your investigation. Enclosed are copies of documents supporting my claim for your review. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and request that the inaccurate information be corrected or removed from my credit report at the earliest.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2023 I sent Experian, XXXX, and XXXX the following complaint. " I have suffered identity, theft, and fraud. I never consented to the following accounts, or have any recollection of any transactions. Please BLOCK and remove all fraud within four days as pursuant to the FCRA. Please exercise your grave responsibility to ensure that my privacy is respected and honored. '' The XXXX account was blocked and then rescinded with no lawful authority to do so. Pursuant to Title 15 USC 1681 c-2, the following consumer reporting agencies only have the lawful authority to rescind or decline to block under the following conditions. 15 USC 1681c-2 ( c ) ( 3 ) - Significance of block. For purposes of this subsection, if a consumer reporting agency rescinds a block, the presence of information in the file of a consumer prior to the blocking of such information is not evidence of whether the consumer knew or should have known that the consumer obtained possession of any goods, services, or money as a result of the block. SO WHAT NEW INFORMATION DID YOU RECEIVE THAT WOULD GRANT YOU AUTHORITY TO RESCIND MY BLOCK!!!
