Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: Dearest CFPB, I've been writing letters to these consumer reporting agencies since XX/XX/2023 and this will be my 6th letter to dispute this one and only inaccurate account that I've found on my credit report. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX - Account XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX That said account has already been deleted on my XXXX but XXXX and Experian are still reporting this despite showing them proof of inconsistency of their reports. XXXX and Experian 's descriptions were far too different from one another. I don't know how they validate and verify this as accurate where their information don't even match with each other. In addition, I have found out numerous credit inquiries that was run by someone I don't know, and I have no knowledge as to why they have to run inquiries on my credit report. I want that to stop right now! Experian has my personal information entered WRONG! My date of birth, previous address, current address and employer were incorrect. These are already forms of INACCURACY. Hence, I demand the deletion and removal of the aforementioned account as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: I am listing accounts below that have been reported inaccurately on my credit report. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. I demand to see Verifiable Proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature on it ) of the accounts listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit.

Consumer Complaint: I DID NOT APPLY FOR CREDIT, LIVE AT or WORK AT THE PLACES LISTED BELOW : Inquiry : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Under Section 1681s-2 ( b ) of the FCRA, when a furnisher receives a consumer dispute forwarded by a consumer reporting agency, the furnisher must conduct an investigation to determine whether the disputed information can be verified. If the evidence available to the furnisher is inconclusivei.e., if the investigation is unable to determine whether the disputed information is accurate or notthen the FCRA does not allow a furnisher to report back to the consumer reporting agency that its investigation verified the accuracy of that information. Even if no reasonable investigation could have conclusively determined that the information was false, the fact remains that the information has not been verified and must be handled accordingly. In particular, Section 1681s-2 ( b ) ( 1 ) ( E ) provides that when disputed information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the furnisher must, as appropriate, delete, modify, or permanently cease reporting the disputed information. The appropriate response is the one that will ensure that the furnisher does not continue to report any of the XXXX XXXX, Document XXXX, XX/XX/2023, XXXX, XXXX of XXXX XXXX information that the consumer has disputed unless that information is verifiably accurate. Thus, any information that can not be verified should be deleted from the data that the furnisher submits to consumer reporting agencies. Moreover XXXX still has NOT PROVIDED PROOF. Please remove the above inaccurate information.
