Consumer Complaint: I am filing this complaint against Experian. Despite the fact that I recently filed Identity Theft disputes in XX/XX/ and a second letter was sent in XX/XX/, the following accounts are still reporting on my credit report : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I provided proof of identity, an FTC report, and a letter from XXXX stating that they could not provide me with proof of my signature authorizing the account. I have attached copies for your review. I have been a victim of Identity Theft in the past and it is very hard to challenge these accounts when the creditors feel that they have your correct information on file. In cases of Identity Theft, of course it is the correct information used to create the accounts, however, the information was not provided or authorized by me to be used to open these accounts and none of the creditors nor Experian responded to my disputes and provided the documentation that I requested to show otherwise nor did they provide a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information as I requested within the 15 days as outlined in the FCRA. I also requested to not have my dispute processed through systems such as eOscar to ensure that it is properly investigated. Furthermore, Experian is required by the FCRA to block the reporting of these accounts not later than 4 business days after the date of receipt. When the results of the XXXX XXXX investigation resulted in the accounts still reporting, I submitted a reinvestigation in XXXX XXXX. In both letters I affirmed that I had not received any money or goods from these accounts, however, Experian declined to block the information within the 4 days during the XXXX XXXX dispute so I contacted them via phone to inquire about this and was told that they would not be blocking the information but I was not given a reason except that it was due to their internal policy. I informed them of their obligation to inform me in writing, which I had not received and nothing was done on that call nor did I ever receive a notice of the information being declined or rescinded as I should have according to 605B - 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2. I also requested documentation, verification, or proof of their claim of money or goods received by me and have not received anything to date from Experian or any of the creditors. I also requested to have all previous addresses, telephone numbers, and places of employment removed so that no one could use this information in further Identity Theft attempts, however, they are still reporting the old personal information that I asked to have removed. In addition, my social security number they are reporting is not accurate either. The report shows the last four digits as XXXX, which is not accurate and I informed them of that as well and it still has not been corrected. Similarly with XXXX and XXXX, the accounts with XXXX XXXX and XXXX are still reporting as well and I also called them just as I did with Experian with the same exact information begin given to me over the phone as to why the information was not blocked after the XXXX XXXX letter and I did not receive any written notice as outlined in the FCRA from either of them as well. They both did, however, address and correct all other accounts and information disputed.
