Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: In reference to an account of XXXX XXXX, Account # XXXX : XX/XX/XXXXXXXX - I sent a letter letting Experian know that this account is not being reported correctly, and to please update to show that it's never been paid late. I received no response. XX/XX/XXXX - I sent a letter to Experian following up that this account is still showing incorrect information and that it needs to be updated to show never paid late. I received no response. XX/XX/XXXX - I sent a letter to Experian letting them know that this account is still showing incorrect information, and that it needs to be updated to show never paid late. I asked for the method of verifying this information - but again, never received a response. XX/XX/XXXX - I sent a letter to Experian informing them once again that this account is continuing to show incorrect information, and it needs to be updated to show never paid late. - Once again, no response. XX/XX/XXXX - I sent a letter to Experian explaining the numerous letters I have sent to them over the months since XX/XX/XXXX- and explained that they continue to report inaccurate information that is damaging my credit profile. I sent them factual information that shows the data furnisher that is reporting this account is reporting different information to different credit bureaus. There is NO WAY that this can be verified as accurate. I advised that if this was not resolved, I would be filing a complaint with the CFPB. I have never received any response to my letters. The only way I know what is going on is by looking online at my credit report/profile to see what they are updating. They continue to report inaccurate, damaging information and continue to put a statement that it has been verified on the account.

Consumer Complaint: I am bringing to your attention a non-compliance issue with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) concerning Experian 's reporting of an account linked to my XXXXXXXX XXXX account ( Account Number : XXXX ). After disputing the account due to concerns of fraudulent activity, I requested proof of the dispute resolution, specifically a scanned copy of a XXXX tracking number associated with the correspondence. Experian has consistently failed to provide this crucial information despite repeated requests. Additionally, there is evidence of further non-compliance as Experian received a second round of dispute letters on XX/XX/XXXX, responding on XX/XX/XXXX, surpassing the mandated 30-day period. I strongly believe Experian 's actions violate FCRA guidelines and have submitted this request to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) to provide evidence of the timeline discrepancy.
