( B ) Reporting information after notice and confirmation of errors A person shall not furnish information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if ( i ) the person has been notified by the consumer, at the address specified by the person for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate; and ( ii ) the information is, in fact, inaccurate. Consumer Complaint: I received a copy of my credit report and found the following items to be reported in error. Upon doing a thorough research on my reports I found improper inaccuracies on the reports even after they did the thorough verification. By the provision of the fair credit reporting act I demand these items be investigated and removed from my credit report it is my understanding that you will reverify these accounts with the creditor that posted them. Please remove any information that the creditor can not verify I understand that under 15 U.S.C section 1681 ( i ) a you must complete this reinvestigation within XXXX days of the receipt of this letter.These entries are in violation of my consumer rights under federal and state laws. Inaccurate Reporting : I have reason to believe that the reporting of this charge-off and collection is inaccurate, and I have not been provided with sufficient proof of the debt 's validity or any prior validation, as required by the FDCPA. Lack of Verification : The debt was never properly validated as required by the FDCPA. As a consumer, I have the right to demand validation of a debt before it is reported on my credit report or pursued for collection. Discrepancies in Reporting : The entries on my credit report are inconsistent with the legal requirements of the FCRA and FDCPA, as they do not provide a clear and accurate account of the debt.
