Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Information belongs to someone else
Consumer Complaint: I'm filing this complaint because I'm a victim of identity theft and I'm seeing information on my credit report that doesn't belong to me. My personal information is being accessed through the dark web due to data breaches at financial companies and retailers. The following account doesn't belong to me and needs to be removed from my credit report : XXXX XXXX XXXX {$640000.00}, this account is causing me harm and I've tried to request this institution to provide me with documents to show the origin of the account. I also contacted the credit bureaus by certified mail with dispute letters and a copy of an identity theft report, I have done everything I can as a consumer to get this issue addressed, however, this account is still reporting in my credit. Please help me remove this incorrect account asap.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute for incorrect information on my credit report. I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.
