Consumer Complaint: this debt collector engaged in abusive, deceptive, and unfair practices of the FDCPA which it prohibits. They furnished this account that we didn't agree upon and i didn't sign an agreement on. A legal contract is signed by two parties and i did not participate in any of it. More so they didn't follow the proper 5 step validation procedure which make this unfair practices. According to the FDCPA I'm entitled to XXXX dollars per violation and clearly they violated my rights. 1. **Date of Last Activity : ** There's a discrepancy in the reported date of last activity among the three credit bureaus ( XXXX, Equifax XXXX XXXX XXXX. Consistency in reporting is essential for accurate credit information. 2. **Date Reported : ** The date reported varies across the bureaus, with one bureau reporting a significantly later date than the others. This inconsistency might require clarification or correction. 3. **Account Status : ** While all three accounts are reported as closed, there's a discrepancy in the payment status. One account is reported as " Current, '' one as " Late 90 Days, '' and the other as " Closed or paid account/zero balance. '' Clarification on the accurate payment status is needed. 4. **Creditor Remarks : ** The remarks provided by the creditors differ across the bureaus. These remarks should accurately reflect the account 's status and might need alignment for consistency. 5. **Credit Limit : ** There's a discrepancy in reporting the credit limit, with one bureau reporting a {$0.00} credit limit. Ensuring consistency in reporting this information across all bureaus is important. 6. **Payment History : ** Different late statuses ( 30, 60, 90 days ) are reported across the bureaus for specific months. Consistency in reporting these late statuses is crucial for accurate credit reporting. 7. **Dispute Status : ** Although the dispute status mentioned is " Account not disputed, '' if there are inaccuracies or discrepancies.

Consumer Complaint: Despite multiple certified letters ( the three most recent attached with a copy of the certified return receipt also attached dated - XX/XX/23, XX/XX/23 and XX/XX/23 ) to Equifax to corrected the status and the amount of a XXXX Bank account on my Equifax credit report ( XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX ), Equifax has refused to either correct or, preferably for me, to delete this account for blatant inaccuracy and misreporting. I just telephoned them again today and talked to a barely cognizant, confused representative who told me in some unintelligible hybrid XXXX XXXX language that they have not received any letters from me in over a year!!! Equifax has purposefully ignored my certified letters and now is not even acknowledging that I even sent them letters even though I have certified proof!!!
