I received an email from the credit bureau stating that they are assuming the disputes are coming from a 3rd party. They in fact did not come from a 3rd party. l even called them to verify it was me and they still refused to process my disputes. I wasted money on mailing my disputes out. I sent personal information to verify my identity through mail, just for them to not thoroughly investigate.

Consumer Complaint: You are reporting incorrect information for the account XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX is reporting that I was late on this account 19 times, while Equifax is reporting XXXX late payments. XXXX reports that this account was paid off. How is this accurate reporting. XXXX XXXX informed me that they submitted a request to update the tradeline on XXXX XXXX so why is this incorrect information still reporting? This is a violation of the FCRA and if this account is not removed due to inaccurate reporting, I will be taking legal action against your company. Please see the attached response letter from XXXX XXXX and the credit report showing the inaccurate reporting. The data being furnished on my credit report is not credible and therefore has to be removed immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I recently pulled a copy of my credit report and noticed a series of inaccuracies being reported as late payments. During the pandemic, prior to experiencing a hardship I reached out to the creditors to make an accommodation on the accounts to ensure my credit would not be impacted due to lay offs. Furnishing the late payments to my profile is in violation of 15 USC 1681 S-2 ( F ). Not only were the late payments covered by the CARES act during these periods, but I paid as agreed on the following accounts, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX. Further furnishing late payments is also in violation of 15 USC 1666B, specifically with XXXX account. I've reached out to the CRA ( XXXX, XXXX, and Equifax ) attempting to resolve and have this information updated in XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023. I requested verification and have not received a timely response. The late payments being reported are severely affecting me purchasing a home.

Consumer Complaint: After being released from XXXX in XXXX I obtained a copy of my credit reported and noticed someone has been accessing accounts in my name. My personal information was compromised including my driver 's license and social security card during my incarceration due to my prior living arrangement. I contacted XXXX, Equifax, and XXXX via phone and mail in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX in attempt to get this issue resolved. I have not received a response. These accounts and credit inquiries are impacting my credit and preventing me from getting a home. Furnishing this information to my account is in violation of 15 USC 1681B and 15 USC 1681 C-2, not only have I not given any permission or any written consent to furnish this information. Furthermore, no accounts or inquiries should be furnished to my credit profile due to identity theft.
