Consumer Complaint: I have to try to fix an error Equifax has with my name and date of birth. They are reporting my name as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and this is wrong. My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX theres supposed to be no slash. Also my date of birth is wrong, they have it as XX/XX/XXXX and its supposed to be XX/XX/scrub>XX/XX/XXXX I have submitted my id and ssn card twice by mail how they requested and they say that they have not received it. Now my id and ssn card information is lost and who knows where. I tried fixing it through myequifax website and upload my id and ssn card for the dispute of my personal information. I got a response saying the dispute was complete only to find out its still showing erroneous. I have tried to apply for credit and have been denied twice because the company can not access my credit report from equifax. I have letters from them stating the fact. When I talk to representatives at Equifax they authenticate my information with the information I give them, but when I ask how my date of birth and name appears in the system they give me the wrong name and date of birth information. I need this fix asap.
