Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX/XXXX/23, I was sent an email by XXXX XXXX XXXX requiring me to have a waiver by obtaining a public notary for income information which included three months of a bank statement along with a waiver for me for some undisclosed IRS documents. I informed the rep at that time that I had no intent with complying with that request because it is my belief that it is unconstitutional that a private credit card company could make me do something that the IRS does not require. On or about XXXX/XXXX/23, I called XXXX and I talked to XXXX. I asked XXXX why was I picked out for an income verification. XXXX could not explain why, and I asked to speak to a supervisor. XXXX, who identified herself as supervisor, come to the phone, and said the exact opposite of what XXXX has stated. XXXX stated emphatically that this was not an income verification, but rather an identity verification. I told her " I was not required by law to file a income tax statement that the Internal Revenue Service did not require me to file. '' In fact, the Social Security Administration says that I can use the figure they assign for all types of loans. I told her I was willing to provide this federal documentation. That I have a valid US passport, a valid Illinois driver 's license, and a valid Illinois state ID, and I would gladly provide that information if she would provide me a reasonable way to provide this. On or about XXXX/XXXX/23, I was told that this issue would be resolved. I was given specific dates. I was suppose to get a call XX/XX/23 before XXXX XXXX. I was supposed to receive a call on XX/XX/23 before XXXX XXXX as well. I did not get a call. I talked to a XXXX XXXX, and I let him know that we were coming up on XX/XX/23, and I wasn't going to comply with signing an IRS document, getting a notary affidavit, or providing three months of notarized bank statements. I wanted to know what the internal process was of being to resolve this issue since it has been from XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX to resolve it. I informed XXXX XXXX that I think this is discriminatory and arbitrary, and had no reasonable system for the consumer to resolve the issue with the credit card company. Moreover, if the problem was truly identity verification why were there no procedures in place for the consumer either by email, snail mail, or fax to provide the requisite identity information. I think this is an attempt by XXXX XXXX and Equifax to either purge/interfere/or manipulate the customer 's of a rival, in this case XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Dispute and Request for Resolution Regarding Unauthorized Credit Reporting Dear XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I am writing to address a serious matter concerning the unauthorized reporting of an item on my credit report, which appears to be in violation of both federal and Alabama state laws, particularly those pertaining to consumer consent. I want to emphasize that, even in the event of a permissible purpose, the consumers consent is indispensable. I explicitly deny providing consent for the reporting of the mentioned item, making the unauthorized reporting a breach of my privacy rights and constituting identity fraud, as stipulated in 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( I ). Alabama Code Section 8-6-19 reinforces the requirement for explicit consumer consent, making any unauthorized reporting a violation of state law. Furthermore, 15 USC 1681s-2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) imposes a duty on furnishers of information to ensure the accuracy of the information provided to credit reporting agencies and requires obtaining consumer consent. Additionally, I have not received proper debt validation, indicating potential bad business practices. According to Alabama Code Section 8-8-17, proper debt validation is a requirement, and the absence of such validation constitutes a violation of my rights under state law. This aligns with 15 USC 1681g ( a ) ( 1 ), which mandates that consumers have the right to request and receive validation of debts and provides that the consumers consent is required for certain disclosures. Upon careful examination of my credit report, I discovered discrepancies in the amount owed across all three major credit bureaus, leading to a misrepresentation of the debt. Alabama Code Section 8-8-18 addresses misrepresentations of this nature, and 15 USC 1681i ( a ) reinforces the consumers right to dispute inaccurate information, ensuring that any corrections made are with the consumers consent. I urgently request the immediate removal of this unauthorized and unverifiable item from my credit report, as it is adversely affecting my creditworthiness. The lack of my consent for the presence of this item makes it unverifiable, and its continued presence tarnishes my credit. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly to mitigate any further damage to my credit standing. I anticipate your prompt attention to this matter and request a detailed response outlining the steps taken to remove the unauthorized item from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Subject : Addressing Late Payments and Violation of Consumer Credit Law Dear [ Recipient 's Name ], I hope this letter finds you well. My name is XXXX XXXX, and I reside at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, FL XXXX. I am writing to bring to your attention a matter regarding late payments on my account ( Account number : XXXX ) with XXXX XXXX. According to my understanding of the United States Code Law, specifically 15 U.S. Code 1605, there should not be any late payments if a finance charge was involved. The finance charge is defined as the sum of all charges related to a consumer credit transaction. The law specifies that the finance charge includes various charges such as interest, service or carrying charges, loan fees, investigation fees, and more. In essence, the finance charge covers all fees directly or indirectly payable by the person to whom credit is extended. Considering this, I believe that the late payments on my account, dated XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, should not have occurred if a finance charge was involved. As per 15 USC 1605 ( a ), I request that these late payments be removed from my consumer report. As a consumer, I am aware that accounts mentioned in this letter must be updated to " paid as agreed '' immediately under the law. Failure to do so may lead me to seek monetary damages for the violation of my rights under 15 USC 1605 ( a ) in small claims court in my city and state. I am prepared to take legal action under 15 USC 1681n civil liability. Furthermore, I have already submitted this matter to the Complaint portals of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, State Attorney Generals Office, XXXX XXXX XXXX and Federal Trade Commission. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and expect the necessary actions to be taken promptly. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Dear Madam/Sir, I hope this time you will be able to help me remove these 2 remaining inaccuracies on my credit report. I have reported these erroneous reporting for numerous times and nothing happens. They would declare that it were all verified but they have a very confusing and different narrative of information especially on the ( 1 ) date of last active, ( 2 ) account details or type, ( 3 ) date of payment, as well as on the ( 4 ) Two-year payment history. Due to these inconsistencies and big disparity of details from you to another credit bureaus, I would like to assert my stance to have these inaccurate accounts be REMOVED on my credit report.
