Consumer Complaint: Please remove the account XXXX from collection agency XXXX XXXX XXXX from my credit report. I sent a letter to the collection agency XX/XX/XXXX and they have failed to validate this account. Furthermore, I am on a payment plan with the original creditor XXXXXXXX XXXX, so I am confused as to why this collection agency is claiming that I owe them anything. The balance reported is not the same balance that I have with XXXXXXXX XXXX. Lastly, Equifax is the only credit bureau reporting this inaccurate information. I informed Equifax of this error in a dispute letter, and via cfpb in complaint XXXX that they were reporting inaccurate information. They failed to remove this account and they also failed to notate that this account was in a dispute on my credit report which is a violation of the FCRA. At this time, I am only asking for the removal of the account above. Should you continue in your non-compliance, the law is very clear as to the civil liability and the remedy available to me for negligent non-compliance. I am maintaining a careful record of my communications with you for the purpose of filing a complaint seeking relief and monetary damages under FCRA Sections 616 and 617.

I called My Bank, and my credit card companys and they told me they closed my accounts due to me not verifying my information or so. They said they sent me a letter in the mail stating that I had to verify my information but I never received that. I now have delinquent accounts on my report and it is draining my credit score.

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX credit builder credit card and about 3 months ago i checked my credit report and it was reporting i have a late payment with XXXX of the amount of {$40.00} thats impossible cause i havent used the card in 3-6 months prior and you have to deposit money from your checking account to the credit building so you use your own money so you can never owe. So i called XXXX 2 months ago and i was told by customer service that the account was closed and i owe nothing and it was mistake and it will be fixed the next credit reporting cycle i waited a month after to see if it was fixed and nothings was fixed so i called again and i was told that in their system the account is closed and and current nothing owed and they do not believe so email a screen shot of the account off XXXX XXXX i did and they put me on hold for 3 hours once they knew i wasnt going to hang up they hung up on me.
