Consumer Complaint: Dear Sir/Madam. I am writing to formally dispute inaccurate information that appears on my credit report, specifically regarding an account associated with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. As per my rights under the FCRA. I am requesting your immediate attention to this matter and the necessary steps to rectify this situation. Upon reviewing my credit report, obtained from Equifax Credit Reporting Agency, I noticed an account listed under the name XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. However, I have no financial relationship or business dealings with with this company. I have repeatedly tried to call them and they refused to talk to me about said account. This discrepancy has raised serious concerns regarding the accuracy and legitimacy of the reported information. According to the FCRA Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), Equifax are required to conduct a reasonable investigation into disputed information upon receipt of a consumer 's notification of dispute. I did not receive any documentation of method of verification of validity establishing my contractual obligation with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which is a violation of my consumer rights under the FCRA law. I also remind Equifax of their obligations under the FCRA law Section 611 ( a ) ( 5 ) ( A ), which states that information is found to be inaccurate or can not be verified, Equifax must promptly remove or delete the disputed item from any credit report. Therefore, if Equifax is unable to provide the requested accuracy of the reported information, can not be substantiated, Equifax Must remove or delete disputed account. I expect the immediate removal of the account from my credit report. I also request Equifax provide me an outline of the results of any actions taken. Failure to comply with these obligations my result in legal consequences, including potential liability for damages. I expect Equifax 's promptl attention to this matter into this disputed account. Failure to address this dispute appropriately will leave me no choice but to pursue all available remedies to protect my rights under the FCRA law. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I was given an option to pay off the extensive loan that I was trapped into. XXXX XXXX XXXX colluded with XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX, TX to defraud me into buying a car that was almost XXXX times the worth. I attached the Settlement offer that XXXX company I came into agreement so that I could be done with this fraud against me. I paid a total of {$1400.00} to end this fraud perpetrated against me due to me not having knowledge of buying a car. They took total advantage of me. I have included the total contract. They electronically signed my name and I was not aware of how much this car was until I received the contract in the mail XXXX weeks after having the car. I did not have a XXXX paper in the window of the car or nor was it produced to me. I was taken advantaged of and want the CPFB to look into this contract also. I am complaining that XXXX XXXX XXXX allowed this incorrect and inaccurated information to be projected on my credit report erroneously thereby causing me harm, financial hardship, and credit denial. I tried to get XXXX to accurately reflect that my account was correct, From XX/XX/2023 to present reporting of this fradulent reporting, they are still reflecting a negative and erronous amount on my report. I am asking that the CFPB send this complaint to the appropriate entity that will help me with taking the next step so that I can be compensated for XXXX XXXX blatent false reporting of negative items on my report that caused me and my family harm. My credit score suffered due to this erronous reporting of inaccurate information that harmed me per failure due to a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( 15 U.S.C. state statute 1681 g ). I want XXXX to take all late payments off my credit report due to a Pandemic that kept me and other Americans from going to work due to Covid-19 Pandemic. I have always paid the exuberant fees that I was defraud of. I want a legal entitiy to levy penalties against XXXX for misrepresenting the facts on my personal credit reports and I want them to reimburse me the maximum amount of penalties and fees that could be levied against a company that repa consort false and inaccurate information on a consumers 's report. I want an investigation on why they kept reporting harmful, inaccurate, and misleading informaiton on my credit report. I want to know why they did not correct my report in XX/XX/2023.
