Consumer Complaint: I sent Midland Credit a letter asking to verify all and any debts by sending documents proving that the debt belongs to me, any payment history and statements and my original signature. I never had a contract with Midland Credit Management for any debt. Please provide proof from the original creditor that this debt collector owns this debt and has the legal authority to collect it or delete this account.

Consumer Complaint: Under the new Rule REGULATION F, effective XX/XX/2021, it has come to my attention that MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT has violated the FDCPA 1006.30a and its new rule by reporting this alleged debt. To clarify, I have not provided written permission for any entity, including MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT, to report any information on my credit profile as per 15 USC 1681b2. This constitutes a clear violation of my rights under the law.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I've repeatedly requested Midland Credit to verify information and they have failed to do so. I called in XXXX and requested they mail verification, I submitted an online inquiry after that and also mailed XXXX letters ( most recently additionally mailed XXXX by certified mail so they can't claim they haven't received it ). Whenever I've disputed information with the credit bureaus or requested information another way, Midland has increased the debt balance by {$1.00} to intentionally have it readied to my credit report without verifying the information requested. I never received notice of intent to collect the debt nor notification that this debt could be disputed. I additionally never got a fair chance to negotiate or dispute the debt before they added it as a collection. When I requested verification, they failed to verify the debt and have been very aggressive in their attempts to collect the debt while violating several portions of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Consumer Complaint: I have contested over 4 times a debt accrued last XXXX of XXXX under XXXX XXXX, with Midland Credit management trying to set collections out for the amount. I never took out the amount, and have told them that my mother has used my information to take out credit under my name in the past and to look into her being the perpetrator. As of XX/XX/XXXX, my mother passed away, and have yet to receive a death certificate from the coroner for it to be able to send to anyone of her untimely passing. I have told them this is the best lead to whoever took this credit out in my name at that time, and have been stonewalled, no more communication from them, just a mark on my credit for the amount in collections.

Consumer Complaint: I sent dispute letters to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX for Midland Credit Management, they were delivered on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX XXXX In XXXX I was served paperwork stating I owed allegedl debt and I have a court date for XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was confused on how Midland was serving me on alleged debt that I never signed an original contract with and how did they get my address, I never had contact with anyone. I also assumed the court date was fraudulent because me and my partner tried to case search myself and no trial date appeared and then oXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX deleted Midland of my credit report. I received a letter in the mail from the court house saying there is a judgment against me from Midand on XX/XX/ but I still havent received a original contract that I signed with them.

Please advise me of your registered agent name, address and phone number for service of process in Florida AND all branches, offices, agents, attorneys or representatives in XXXX XXXX, Florida and in any other counties in Florida who can and are authorized to accept service of process.
