Consumer Complaint: Midland funding LLC failed to remove their tradeline from my credit reports in a reasonably time. This is causing my report to become more negative thus having a huge impact on my credit score. They had hired a law firm, XXXX, XXXX , XXXX XXXX, for the collection of debt owe to them. The debt was settled as agreed with the law firm over a month ago, which was in XX/XX/2020. I called Midland on XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX to let them know that they had not updated/removed the information. Midland keeps telling me that it takes more days for changes to the report. Another person in Midland 's consumer department named XXXX, said that the law firm needs to let them know that the debt has been settled before updating. I called the law firm they suggested it was a matter to be taken up by Midland funding LLC. I will like my report to be updated immediately. Overall Midland funding is taken a long time to update/ remove collection from credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: The debt collector hired a lawyer to seek payment for a debt, the lawyer went through the courts, and hired a server to serve documents to me requesting a response to these documents. The document were not secured in an envelope for privacy, and were bound by a paper clip and delivered to my father-in-law at his residence. Thus allowing him and any other residence easy access to confidential information about me. Furthermore I have not lived at that residence for over two and a half years.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2019 Midland Credit called my cell phone and did not verify any information before disclosing they were a collection agency and calling regarding a XXXX XXXX account. My phone was on speaker phone as I was in a meeting awaiting a call from a Vendor. My entire XXXX XXXX heard that I had a debt, which I did not know anything of and still unsure if it's mine. I advised the representative that I couldn't talk and she didn't know who she was speaking to and she continued to demand I pay my debts. I told them not to call my phone any more. They called back again ( I do have proof of the phone calls and screen shots ) and again, did not verify any information and demanded I pay a credit card.
