Consumer Complaint: I disputed an account that Midland Credit Management placed on my XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX credit reports. This account is a duplicate of a XXXX XXXX/ XXXX account that is also on my credit report. I received a letter by USPS in the mail dated XX/XX/2020 from Midland stating that I had already paid them {$150.00} ( 6 payments displaying for 2020 ) and that I should continue to pay this debt. I have never had any contact with Midland and this letter represents 1st contact. I'm sure the impetus for this letter was my current credit dispute. To be clear : I HAVE NEVER PAID ANY MONEY TO MIDLAND as they are reporting by mail and wire. I have continued to pay XXXX and will provide the ACH/ Wire information regarding these payments. I have no familiarity with Midland and their involvement in this account and the XX/XX/XXXX statement represents first contact. This is clearly an FCRA violation and possibly fraud by mail and wire.

Consumer Complaint: This information was deleted off of my credit I was mailed a copy and Midland Credit who was the original debt collector and now I have another debit collector trying to get payment to pay off the debit. I spoke with XXXX XXXX XXXX advising I am unable to pay the full amount {$1800.00}. They sent a summons before I knew XXXX and XXXX had the debit. The original lender did not contact me for payment and it was obviously sold to another debit collector. Now that I had it disputed here I am with a summons that I believe should not have been sent. I reached out but they could not help me settle this payment. I advised them due to covid-19 and unemployment I could settle for {$200.00} they declined the offer.

Would like them to issue the Warrant of Satisfaction and Release of Lien. I called and no one has the timefreame information. I have received copied from two other agencies within the same time frame. They are telling me it's related to the courts however, I am requesting a copy of what MCM is sending to the courts. Not the response from the court. What I am requesting comes from MCM, not the courts so there's no real reason for a delay.

Consumer Complaint: I called to verify a debt XXXX that was on my credit at one time {$630.00}. But it is no longer on there. I disputed it before and found out the debt was sold to Midland Cred. I called today on XX/XX/20 and Midland Cred told me I was not obligated to pay. I told them what of I wanted to pay the {$630.00} in full today. Midland Cred stated I was not obligated to pay anything due to the account was closed. The company stated they will send me a No Obligation Letter in 7- 10 days. I told him I needed the letter asap could they send it another way. They stated mailing was the only way. I told him I need the letter asap to give to my employer. They stated I could place my employer on my account so they can access it. So I placed my investigator name on account so she can access it.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management, using multiple names keeps calling, Keep asking for XXXX, who is not me and for whom I have never heard. I tell them that, even when they pretend to be a friend. I have told them to stop then they ask for my social security number, and all sorts of personal info. I tell them no, and they say they will just keep calling because they can not identify me. I tell them if I am not who they seek why would I give them private info. They just keep calling. XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and these are only some of the number. They have called easily over 100 times in the last 6 weeks. I have had this number at least 1.5 years. My number is XXXX, and they obviously have my number.

The they originally contacted me three months ago, I disputed this, but. when I reached out to them again today they said that their records were correct. I have knowledge of ever apply for credit with this bank. I have never received any credit card from them nor have I received any type of statements. I do believe someone opened this account in my name without my knowledge. The creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the MCM account number is XXXX. The last digits of the card are XXXX.
