Consumer Complaint: Midland Funding, LLC, committed multiple violations in the collection of debts ; - I was sued by Midland Funding, LLC, without providing required Original Account Level Documentation ( OALD ), filing false affidavits, and without notification of the lawsuit. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was sued for the amount of {$4200.00} and on XX/XX/XXXX, for the amount of {$2300.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I then requested by Certified Mail that Midland Funding, LLC, provide me OALD to verify both debts which Midland Funding, LLC, failed to respond. - Midland Funding, LLC, then attempted to seize my property on XX/XX/XXXX, by placing an order for garnishment of wages. On XX/XX/XXXX, and on XX/XX/XXXX, attempted to seize personal property by recording judgment liens. - Midland Funding, LLC, on numerous occasions used communication tactics of verbally abusive phone calls, making false statements, misrepresentations of the amount owed, and threatening to take negative legal actions they had no right to take. - Midland Funding, LLC, continues to falsely report to all three Credit Bureaus even after I made multiple disputes in writing that they refused to properly investigate. This has significantly damaged by Credit Score, resulting in me being denied on mortgage refinancing loan applications. Attempted to resolve matter over the phone where Employee demanded {$7200.00} be paid immediately or threatened further legal action.

Consumer Complaint: Debt was paid in the fall of 2018, in store, in XXXX Ohio. Midland bought out the misstatements debt, and has put it as an account in collections despite the debt being paid. I called out to Midland to discuss the debt, and they refused to accept the fact that this debt was paid prior to their buying of the debt. To get this misstatements debt handled, and the company refused to remove the debt. Additionally no validation of debt was received, despite my asking for validation. I even attempted to settle the debt to remove it and the company refused. The fact they they have not sent any validation of debt, and have refused to remove this item from my credit report is a direct violation of the fair debt collections act.

Consumer Complaint: Contacted Midland credit management and ask them to report that I'm making payments on the amount old. and they refuse to report that I'm making payments and said they do not have to report that I am making payments. M y account is no longer negative and IS revolving and should be showing a positive or a percentage paid and it is not doing so so. I'm demanding they either remove the entire amount off my credit or they show proof that I'm making payments and that my credit is in good standing. They are hurting my credit unfairly and unjustly!

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Old information reappears or never goes away
Consumer Complaint: I have contacted XXXX to remove old items from my credit report. There are accounts from XXXX still being reported and they are well over 10 years old. My student loan accounts are only to be reported for seven and a half years however my account State back to XXXX and XXXX 9 and 10 years old and still being reported on my credit report. I want all of these removed immediately. It is preventing me from having a score high enough because the debt to income ratio is unbalanced. I realize that as a XXXX woman in this society it's harder to obtain credit and the hard work that I'm putting into improving my scores are being impeded by this incorrect and false information. Also XXXX keeps reporting Midland credit who is not a creditor of mine and XXXX XXXX XXXX which is also an account that I do not have. I have asked for proof I have asked for validation and they have refused to give it to me. I need all of these accounts removed from my credit report

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was result of identity theft
Consumer Complaint: Ive been disputing this from the time it was reported. Its a result of identity theft using my information. I didnt open this account or have knowledge who opened it but the original creditor bank acknowledged its not me who opened it thats why XXXX and XXXX removed it from my credit report long time ago. Only XXXX is saying this account is accurate every time I dispute it but do not provide information on how they conduct the investigation if they even did an investigation. Its not fair to be pursued by collection agency trying hard to collect money that I didnt owe them and keeping my credit score down even though Im paying the legal credits I owe by the thousands of dollars to credit card companies that I opened myself. I have no carried balances on all of my credit cards because I pay all of them on time and in full. Midland Funding has no right at all to keep collecting money from me in a XXXX manner calling me day and night.
