Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/21 I sent out letters to the credit Bureaus asking for verification for the account number XXXX with Midland Funding LLC on my credit report that they assumed was mine and they replied back with with a generic letter saying it was verified. On XX/XX/21 I sent out a second round of letters asking for validation and I clarified what I needed within the 30 days, still they only responded, with a generic automated letter saying the debt was verified. They did not respond with the items I asked for under 15 USC 1692g. I then proceeded to send a validation letter to Midland Funding on XX/XX/21 directly asking for validation directly, and all they sent me was a bill that I never created. On XX/XX/21 I sent reinvestigation letters to all three bureaus with no progress of getting this issue resolved. Neither company has been able to provide validation that this assumed debt belongs to me and I need it removed from my credit report

They already know I can't do anything else they failed to sue me a while ago because all I receive is SSI. Now I haven't enrolled with national debt relief with less than they say I owe now because they keep racking up the interest I don't even think they're looking at this settlement attempt! Every other collection agency has been fine but these people keep reporting collections increase for my credit report every month! I'm trying to settle this debt they are not making it any good experience

Consumer Complaint: I am a victim of identity theft. Due to the Corona Virus Pandemic, we are all facing which has me sitting still at home and I saw the recent news about the multiple XXXX Data breaches. I decided to look at my credit reports from the 3 major credit bureaus and found that someone had used my Identity. I have no idea how the theft took place. I also have no knowledge of any suspects. I did not receive any money, goods, or services as a result of identity theft. I contacted the Credit Bureau and told me to file an Identity Theft Report which I am doing. I appreciate your effort in getting this matter resolved. Thank you. Please let me know if you need any other information from me to block this information from my credit report. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management has called me twice. Background : Im working with a company who settles debt. I signed up with them in 2019. My credit keeps jumping every month after taken a big dive in 2019. The debt they are trying to collect is a debt was sent to me via another credit collections agency, asking me to settle the debt for XXXX dollars. I sent that collection notice over to the company Im working with and they handled it being as the debt is showing on my credit report as settled. Not only is midland credit management trying to collect the debt for the settlement of XXXX dollars, they also threatened me by saying they have lawyers in my area willing to take action. They lied to me about not working with my current debt consolidation company, which they do because they have settled an XXXX account that I had, Once again this is showing as settled on my credit report. I also contacted my credit consolidation company about the matter and they stated that the debt has been settled.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management is reporting a collection in my name that isn't mine to both XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX I have a common name and it seems someone with the same name has a defaulted account that is showing up on my credit report in error. I demand this gets removed right away. I have never defaulted on any accounts. I am trying to refinance my house and my credit scores are 100 points less than they should be due to this reporting issue. I have attached my identity documents to prove that this was never my account as well as my credit report profile data. All my previous addresses are valid for me. Over the past 12 years, I have never received mail at any other addresses.

Consumer Complaint: Hi my name is XXXX XXXX, I am seeking advice in regards to a judgement that has been placed against me by Midland credit management. The case has been turned over to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was not aware of this judgement until recently when I checked my credit and reached out to Midland credit management to inquire about the collection and was told it was on a legal hold. I was never sent a letter or any other notice or phone call stating this was going on or given opportunity to take care of the problem before it got to this point of a lawsuit. I have reached out to the law firm and was told they had a court date coming up in XXXX but they will not give me the date or any other information.I have not been served anything in regards to the matter. When I call I feel they are only trying to collect information against me and not allowing me to rectify the situation. At this point I am unsure of what measures I can take and can not afford anyone to garnish my wages.

Consumer Complaint: I contact Midland funding LLC about my 2 accounts with them ( XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Midland Funding LLC assigned my two accounts with them to XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contact XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to settle the said two accounts. They informed me that there is a third account under my name. I asked them who is the creditor, they said it is from XXXX XXXX that was sold to XXXX XXXX add XXXX XXXX assigned the account to them to collect. That XXXX XXXX account had been settled and paid long time ago. XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is not helpful when I tried to explain to them that it was settled and I gave them the confirmation # that the account is settled. They insist that all three account should be paid. I do not know how to handle this situation. I just want to settle what I owe and not what i already paid.
