Consumer Complaint: Midland Group and Associates LLC first attempted to call my wife, using a blocked number. They then called me, also blocked number, regarding a debt that I have no recollection of for a large sum of money. The debt is supposedly from XXXX, a company I currently hold a card with, from 2016 ( outside of Texas statute of limitations, regardless of the fact its not mine ) Caller had multiple pieces of personal information, including my address, which he emphasized several times. He threatened to sue multiple times and declined to provide written proof of the debt, as they had already sent it. I have received nothing from this company. Call was terminated when called advised I was going to be served. I immediately called XXXX who advised they have no records of any debt owed to them or correspondence with this collection agency

Consumer Complaint: Notice to all, I am that the consumer, in fact, natural person, original creditor, lender, executor administrator, holder in due course for any and all derivatives thereof for a surname. I XXXX XXXX who is currently of the age of majority would like to validate the information listed above is accurate and hereby would like to address several violations that have occurred between the creditor ( MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT ) and XXXX XXXX & XXXX a Non-Government reporting company. Fact, The Fair Debt Collection Practice Act was established to stop the abusive, deceptive and unfair debt collection practice by many debt collectors. Fact, Affiant is aware and has proof in attachment labeled exhibit " A '' that MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT and XXXX XXXX & XXXX a Non-Government reporting company is currently in violation of U.S.C 1692c ( a ) in which any COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONSUMER GENERALLY-States Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt. Fact, Affiant is aware and has proof in attachment labeled exhibit " A '' that MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT is currently in violation of 15 U. S. C. 1692c ( 3 ) ( b ) COMMUNICATION WITH THIRD PARTIES-Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction a debt collector may not communicate in connection with the collection of any debt with any person other than the consumer his attorney. MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT willful violated my rights by non-compliance I the consumer demands the ceasing of communication as stated in 15 U.S.C 1692c ( 3 ) ( C ) with all parties involved and for the related information to be removed from my report. Due to MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT XXXX XXXX and XXXX have willfully violated several of my rights I am also seeking Civil liability which 15 U.S.C states any debt collectors who fail to comply with any provision of the title with respect to any person is liable to such person in an amount equal to the sum of { {$1000.00} }. Midland Has Willfully damaged my reputation by reporting this alleged debt on my consumer reports and also sending alleged debt lawsuit to an incorrect address causing neighbors to view this embarrassment.

Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing this account with the credit bureaus for sometime now. Each time they would say that MIDLAND CREDIT would verify the debt. So I took it upon myself to ask MIDLAND CREDIT for validation of the debt. Are they legally able to collect on the debt? How did they calculate the amount they claim I owe? How do they know I am the owner of the debt? Im curious because I have never done business with them or the original creditor. Well, it has been more than 30 days and I still have not received anything proving the debt is mine. They received my letter on XX/XX/2021. Here is the tracking XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was under the impression that if they didn't respond it would automatically deleted from my credit reports. Silence is being in agreeance. I am sure there is a law that proves it.

Consumer Complaint: I received correspondence from Midland Credit Management on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX regarding an alleged debt from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also received a call and threat from an agent of the MCM Organization on XX/XX/2021 which I recorded for my record. He threatened to have this alleged account furnished on my credit report. I informed the agent that his threats were in violation of federal law pursuant 15 USC 1692d Harassment and Abuse. I also informed the agent that pursuant to 18 USC 8 that ALL Obligations or other security is the responsibility of the United States. Furthermore, this consumer credit falls under the Truth In Lending Act 15 USC 1602. Pursuant to 15 USC 1605 ( 1 ) the finance charge includes the sum of all charges including interest. In Conclusion there are billing errors in the correspondences that were sent to me by MCM Pursuant to 15 USC 1666 ( b ) Billing Errors. I have sent MCM a Cease and Desist, sworn Affidavit of Truth with Exhibits, and an Invoice totaling each individual action.

Their intentional and willful furnishing of inaccurate information is a violation of FCRA Section 623 and according to FCRA Section 611. I have done many attempts to reach out to XXXX and XXXX Credit Bureaus but they failed to give me any results or feedbacks about this concern, and where is the proof of payment history for this account?
