Consumer Complaint: Mother has put myself down as a co-sign with a bank credit card from XXXX XXXX Bank with intentions to help my credit in XXXX Credit card was closed out in years of XXXX by XXXXXXXX XXXX Bank which we , my mother and I, made a phone call to them to make sure the credit card was closed with a XXXX balance. XXXX XXXX Bank has no documentation of this since its beyond a 3 months span. Midland Credit Management ( debt collector ) claims the card reopened and is attempting to collect a debt with the amount of {$2900.00}. Midland claimed a payment was made on XX/XX/19 for the amount of {$150.00} under my name. Midland was not able to provide accurate account information the payment came out of, along with purchases made when asked. Midland Credit pursued a civil summons attempting to collect the debt in the month of XXXX. I have taken action and responded back to Midland that I do not owe/unaware of this debt which may be the result of a fraudulent attempt with my information by another individual. I did not reopen the XXXX XXXX Bank card, I do not owe the amount of {$2900.00} to Midland Credit Management nor XXXX XXXX Bank, and have not made any payments towards the amount listed above on a bank card from issued by XXXX XXXX Bank. There is no evidence that the payment came from my current nor previous bank statements dating back to the time of this claim.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 Midland credit have been sending me bills speaking about a balance for a previous credit card and the amount of {$520.00}. Every month I send them {$20.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I had called in to see what the amount was that I could pay it off. They offered me a deal of {$470.00}. I then had to go to a friend to borrow the money I loaded it on a prepaid XXXX card. I called them back and gave him the information on the card along with the security. They kept saying that they didn't receive the amount ended up the card was declined. When I had called the cord later within XXXX minutes the card had been completely drained and was spent at numerous places like walmart.com. the people told me that they were with Midland credit they even gave me an account number and everything. I have no idea on what to do next. And they recently sent me another bill for a {$20.00} due by the end of the month the difference is now it's a different XXXX XXXX XXXX they have sent.

Consumer Complaint: 4 accounts with XXXX XXXX were charged off in XXXX. In XXXX, monies were paid to all the 4 accounts charged off because the XXXX cruise was canceled due COVID-19. During the validation period, I informed XXXX XXXX and the collection companies that the amount claimed was not accurate. XXXX XXXX refused to acknowledge monies credited to the 4 accounts and then sold the accounts to Collection companies. The collection companies were also informed the amounts are inaccurate and refuse to credit the accounts properly, XXXX XXXX has credited only one account and not all accounts and has sold accounts to collections companies indicating in inaccurate amounts owed and the credit collection has updated my credit report to reflect amounts that are inaccurate. I requested validation during FTC law and regulation of the amounts owed and they have failed to validate the amounts actually owed for each account. Based on FTC law, the account should be settled and my credit report should be updated to reflect that the accounts are settled and closed without reflecting a derogatory entry.

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with Midland credit management on auto pay for over a year now. Always paying as agreed. I got a new debit card from my bank, my old one expired on XX/XX/22. All of my XXXX payments went through, no problems, except this one with Midland. On the XXXX they say it didn't go through. They then turned it over to collections on XX/XX/22. I tried to get them to fix it and put it back how it was and pay the " late '' payment if they removed it from my credit report like it was before. I was told they would not remove it unless I paid it in full. Now my credit is being affected because they reported it, and it was not my fault the payment did not go through, my card was valid until XX/XX/22 And then I activated the new one I received. I just want it put back how it was and continue my payments without it being on my credit report. I have screenshots of the entire chat with an account manager.

Consumer Complaint: I was sued by Midland funding on a debt that they purchased. The debt was charged off. They have a totally different amount than the charge off. They NEVER gave me Notice. After reaching out to them, plus number of times challenging through the credit bureaus I finally had them send me some documentation concerning the debt in question. I researched Midland and found that they filed suit on XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX XXXX and posted service to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Virginia XXXX Please see Attachments : I have not lived at this location since XXXX. So for starters, this was a volitation of Federal law given the facts that in their possession from the documents they sent me shows Clearly that I lived at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Virginia at the time from the creditor 's Statement balance of {XXXX} Which I may add is in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Virginia Not XXXX XXXX. Please see Attachments : As I mention those two facts shows they are in violation of Federal Law. In XXXX was was living in XXXX XXXX up to XXXX. I was living in Maryland from XXXX until XXXX and I did not get notice of none of this process from this company. However this company chose to Violated federal Law and my rights by posting a notice on an address that I have not live at since XXXX which was a convenience to them instead of following federal Law. They sued for {XXXX}, the account had a balance of {$670.00} on my credit it shows {XXXX}. Collection another violation of my rights with the wrong amounts. see Attachments : This company has refused to remove this off my credit and caused me to miss out on buying a house and brought my credit down.
