Consumer Complaint: ON XX/XX/XXXX I WROTE TO MIDLAND FUNDING IN REGARDS TO A COLLECTION THAT THEY PLACED ON MY CREDIT FILE ON XX/XX/XXXX. THEY LISTED THE ACCOUNT WITH AN OPEN DATE OF XX/XX/XXXX. ( SEE ATTACHED LETTER TO MIDLAND ) IN RETURN THEY WROTE BACK TO ME ON XX/XX/XXXX WITH A ONE PARAGRAPH LETTER STATING THAT WHAT THEIR NOTES INDICATE, THE PREVIOUS CREDITOR 'S NOTES AND THEY THEY REPORTED TO THE CREDIT BUREAUS IS ACCURATE. I SENT THE A 2ND LETTER DATED XX/XX/XXXX ASKING THEM FOR THE INFORMATION THAT THEY HAVE IN THEIR RECORDS TO VALIDATE THIS DEBT AND ONCE AGAIN THEY ONLY PROVIDED ME WITH THE EXACT LETTER FROM XX/XX/XXXX BUT WITH A NEW DATE OF XX/XX/XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is regarding account information below that has not been investigated and no information given. Its been over 2 months with no information given to me regarding these accounts. I have no knowledge of these companies and they shouldnt be reporting as I never gave permission for the reporting per Section XXXX -I sent correspondence to the Credit Bureaus regarding this. I was never notified in writing per XXXX U.S.C XXXX prior to accounts being on my credit report, within 5 days. Moreover, these accounts violate debt collections, abusive and unfair practices per section XXXX ( XXXX ) adding additional amounts.

Consumer Complaint: When I was incarcerated XX/XX/XXXX I had a power of attorney contact all my creditor accounts for me stating I was only able to afford at most minimum payment each month. I when I was released XX/XX/XXXX and the pandemic was in full effect with mandated mask and boundary laws I could not work. My upholstery shop suffered and faced shut downs. I paid XXXX XXXX bank as much as I could each month although jobless and was only using the card in emergency pleading for some kind of deferment or grievance program. Denied by XXXX XXXX any type of help I became overwhelmed with the balance and amount of interest. My account was sold and the owner of the debt is now demanding a still greater amount calculated by only interest charges on this account. I have been threatened to be taken to court when I tried to explain that I am a victim of a national disaster and still remain jobless. I've lost everything including resistance. My credit is keeping me from any chance of recovery. The creditor is now reporting derogatory weekly to damage me more. When I sauhgt out help from credit burrow to dispute that was denied as well.

On XX/XX/2022 the collection charges was added back on my credit for the amount of {$890.00} by MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT. This company is in violation and I would like them to be removed from my credit report immediately. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: Midland Funding LLC filed a suit against me in XX/XX/XXXX. They claimed that I owe roughly {$1200.00} in a debt collection effort dating back to XX/XX/XXXX. They filed the suit in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Indiana, a county where I do not live. I have never lived at the address claimed in the suit and do not even know where they obtained that. All documents/subpoenas were mailed to address of where I do not live so I was levied a default judgement in XX/XX/XXXX. The only document I have ever received was in XX/XX/XXXX, and it was a motion for change of lead counsel. So following 1 year and 8 months this was the only attempted communication concerning a lawsuit. I live in Colorado and even their own evidence submitted to Indiana Courts contained my current address in Colorado. Midland Funding and their attorneys had my address readily available but still chose file a suit in a state of which I do not live and sent documents to an address I have never resided in. I believe they attempted unfair practices to collect a debt by knowingly filing a suit in a state I do not live and where the debt did not occur so they could obtain a default judgement and hope that I would not fight it. As shown by federal case XXXX XXXX AL. V. MIDLAND FUNDING, XXXX ET AL. CONSUMER ACTION, this is a common tactic done by Midland funding and the fine levied in the lawsuit against Midland Funding did not deter these kind of tactics.

They call from 8 different numbers currently, and I have blocked other numbers they repeatedly call form at early hours.
