Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: I have mailed Midland Funding LLC with XXXX separate letters, and also dispute information with all three CRA. With the online dispute it is coming back as verified, but they are not giving any information on how it is verified. I also sent them letters, XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX requesting for them to remove this debt off all XXXX of my CRA. I have never received any correspondence back from XX/XX/XXXX & I still have not heard or receive my green card receipt from that company. I am requesting for Midland Funding to remove this off my credit report due to CFBP subpart b-rules for FDCPA Debt Collectors 1006.18 False, deceptive, or misleading representations or means. Everything they are doing or have tried to do is illegal and none of the credit report agency or debt collectors respecting or following the law.

Consumer Complaint: The credit collection agency put this alleged account on the credit bureau files BEFORE they gave me notice about the alleged debt. Just received notice of alleged debt in the current month. I reported debt as not being mine to the three major credit bureaus. It says that the original creditor was XXXX XXXX. Requested that the collection agency provides documentation that shows who got this contested account. In the absence of proof of ownership, the collection agencies removed the accounts from my credit bureau file. Shortly after the credit collection was removed from my credit reports, one of the credit bureau agencies notified me that the account has been reinstated on my credit files. The credit collection agency also says that I paid the account in XXXX 2021. I made no such payment. I still have received NO documentation, such as credit application, that the debt is mine.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed this account with XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX via USPS certified mail. I also sent 2 debt validation requests via USPS certified mail to Midland Credit Management on XX/XX/2022, and XX/XX/2022. Midland Credit Management ignored my request for debt validation and failed to respond in over 60 days. I dont even have an original account with whom they say the original creditor is or a similar dollar amount of {$600.00} reporting on any of my credit reports. This is why I wrote to Midland Credit XXXX directly to validate the debt in the first place. XXXX completed their investigation and deleted the account from my credit report. As of XX/XX/2022, both XXXX and XXXX verified and or updated the account as accurate however they didnt actually verify it and they are continuing to report it on my credit report. By their continuous reporting of an unknown and or unverified account, they are in violation of the FDCPA. This is continuing further collection activity which is also a violation of the FDCPA.
