Consumer Complaint: This is inaccurately reporting on my credit report. I need this to cease and desist off my reports. This company has been trying to destroy my name. Places collection account debts on my social security number without my authorization or consent. The consumer consents to whats reported on their personal credit profile. I have never done business and have no signed contracts with this company. There is no collateral estoppel and promissory estoppel thats I have ever used or signed with this company. Please stop all reporting on all credit bureaus. This is the 2nd attempt for resolution prior to legal proceedings.

Consumer Complaint: The account in question was written off by the original creditor from charge-off in XXXX, I received a 1099C and paid this amount through means of taxes from filing as income ( as required ) when received. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX XXXX stating that on XX/XX/XXXX the account was sold to Midland Credit Management. Midland failed to send the appropriate information or any communication of any kind until XX/XX/XXXX ( which is past the 5 days ) of that date of sale. The materials requested by myself were as follows : - Original contract between myself and XXXX XXXX with signature - The Purchase Agreement between myself and XXXX XXXX with my signature - Midland 's License/Agreement to do business within my state of residence ; and if the sold account belongs to any other company, what is the licensing/contracting agreement between that company and Midland Credit Mgmt. - Any contractual obligation with Midland with my signature on it annotating I am legally obligated or in any binding agreement with Midland to pay a charged off amount which was 1099C'ed. - A itemized breakdown of any presumed charges on the account which includes interest charges on the account, any additional fee 's added to account throughout the life ( to include after default/charge off ) ; the last date a payment was made on this account - Provide any proof of service for delivery of items to validate/verify receiving of these documents ( which they have no sent ). On XX/XX/XXXX, a separate letter was sent ( with none of the material above given ), as a " Pre-Legal Notification '' ( which in the context of the wording can is threatening legal action ) which is a direct violation of the FDCPA.

Consumer Complaint: Id like it noted that I have filed XXXX separate complaints. In XX/XX/2023 they agreed to remove this charge off of my account but then they never removed it, and then stated on XXXX XXXX that I had a missed payment ( or thats what they told the XXXX ) however, Ive no idea of this account, the information is wrong and they violated HIPPA. When I called for assistance the man on the phone was aggressive, stated that XXXX wasnt my name and then proceeded to inform me that he would not help unless I gave them permission to contact me directly. As they are a third party l, they should have no right to my medical files and payments for my insurance. The man on the phone transferred me to his manager and the manager gave me the narration of debt collectors and that he would not be able to assist until I allowed them to unseal the datawhile acknowledging that the they were indeed supposed to remove this charge off of my accounts. This is illegal and needs to be dealt with because they claimed that I have missed payments, affecting my scores and are continually haulting improvement.

Consumer Complaint: Apparently someone got a credit card in my name in XXXX of 2006, i was completely unaware of this until recently when a letter was sent to my parents house. why they waited 17 years to inform me is just insane and why the letter was sent to my parents i have no idea but they have been garnishing my wages for over a year. i knew about the garnishment but just assumed it was for a XXXX bill i owe so i didnt question it. They have already taken almost {$3000.00} from me. i want this garnishment stopped and my money back and i want to know what address the card was sent to and where the bills were sent to and what was purchased and where from also. i am struggling right now and my car needs to be fixed so i can keep my job and i have no extra money because they are taking it from me.

Consumer Complaint: Midland credit management is a financial institution by definition and alleges they sent me a validation letter and that they legally can violate my right to privacy. I need documentary proof of the 3 notices that should have been sent to me before this company reported anything on my consumer report. I never had any agreement with midland or any other company they are referencing. I need proof of a letter stating midland would be reporting to my consumer report where they gave me an opportunity to sign my signature approving of this or admitting I owe them any debt. I never had an agreement with the alleged original creditor so I definitely dont have any agreement with midland credit management XXXX Midland credit management as a financial institution does not have any rights that trump my right to privacy as a consumer

Consumer Complaint: MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT continues to send me letters stating that I owe them a debt. I have informed them in writing that I am not refusing to pay the debt but I am not aware of having an account with them. I have asked them to provide me with a signed contract between them and myself so that I can ensure that I am not a victim of identity theft. They responded telling me if I don't believe the debt is mine for me to file an identity theft report, which I have done. I am still receiving letters from them offering me a discounted fee, but they still can not provide me with the evidence that I have an account with them. The last letter says I have been pre approved for a discounted rate, and I want to know how I was approved, was my social security number ran, without my permission? This company seems very fraudulent because they can't provide me with proof that I have an account with them, but they continue to offer discounts on the alleged debt.
