Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out via courier service to Midland Credit Management asking them to please validate the debt they are currently trying to collect with my name on it. In this letter, I asked them to send me the following pieces of information to validate the debt. 1. The original contract with my wet signature on it. 2. The original creditor and their information. 3. Payment history including itemized billing. 4. Proof of ownership. On XX/XX/XXXX I received some of the information requested stating that they had completed their investigation of my dispute and found that the following pieces of information validates the debt, however, they did not send me the original contract nor all of the payment history including itemized billing, nor that they own the alleged account.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I received a notice from Midland Credit Management a debt collector for a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Balance of XXXX for a can account credit XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I received this notification at my parents address at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Maine XXXX. I requested additional information about the account and found out the address for the card was at an apartment complex XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX at apartment XXXX. I disputed this information with the Midland Credit, but they said the information was accurate. So my father XXXX XXXX and I went to the apartment complex on XX/XX/2022 to see if they ever had any record of me living there, and they did not. XXXX XXXX said she can be contacted at XXXX to verify that I had never lived at the location. This address was used to open the account. My purse was stolen in XXXX a few years back and police report and figure my identity was stolen. Midland Credit told me to file a report with you. I can be contacted at XXXX. Consumer Complaint: A collection agency " Midland Credit Management '' started threatening me about a XXXX XXXX XXXX bill. I've never had a XXXX XXXX card, the card address was in North Carolina, I've NEVER lived outside of KS. The dept was not on my credit report, but the false North Carolina address was, which has been removed. Balance : XXXX The first I was contacted about this debt was by phone, late summer of 2020. On each of multiple calls, it was explained, never lived in NC, never had XXXX XXXX card. First contact in writing was XX/XX/2020. They mentioned another person on the account with a name other than my husbands, with a SS # different than my husbands. This info was also reported to them as not correct. Credit reports checked and found no mention of this debt. Reported the possible ID theft. About the same time, a fraudulent unemployment claim was made against me. I and my employeer reported it to the state of KS.
