Consumer Complaint: MCM is the company that has been harassing me and my family. They've called my sister on numerous occasions. They've called my mother. I've called them and told them to cease and desist... It appears as if they resubmitted my debt as if it were new this year, and they started contacting me and my family again. I again sent a cease and desist phone call. And now my sister is just received yet another phone call.. has been going on for 3 years at least probably more like five. Like I said they have just contacted my sister for the fourth time in total. I had been in contact with them previously. I received the letter that they sold my debt.. and then I received another letter shortly thereafter that they've purchased my debt. Or at least as far as I can tell.. credit karma is not very descriptive so I had to suss everything out myself. Midland credit Management is who I'm referring to. The photo I provided as a screenshot of my sister 's phone... not really very helpful whatsoever but that's the number they contacted her from. According to her they asked for me. She asked what it was regarding, they said nothing. She asked if it was medical. They said they couldn't say and then she asked if it was financial and they alluded to her that It might be and " it is in my best interest to speak to them '' they insisted that they speak to me.. and literally asked my sister to find me and give me the phone to speak to them while she was at work. We no longer even live in the same house. We only share our last name.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2022 - I phoned Midland Credit Management , Inc to change the debit card information in their system. A payment plan had been set up to resolve this very old debt. The company employees became very uncooperative when I told them that I need to change the debit card number on the payment arrangement. The arrangement was {$50.00} per month for 3 months and {$100.00} every month after until paid off. The company told me that because I had filed a complaint with CFPB and they had until XX/XX/2022 to respond that they will not resolve the payment plan to change the debit card number in the arrangement. They told me the only way they would cooperate is if I withdrew my complaint. I said that I would not because I am looking for affordable payments for debt resolution.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management, I see like all the rest of those who do what you do that you don't do your homework, the letter you sent me will not be accepted nor will we act on as we previously requested from XXXX a copy of the bill of sale which by law I am entitled to receive but to date have not. I know you just randomly purchase debt without even knowing the background of the debt in question, and as I mentioned earlier that I had requested a copy of the bill of sale but also a copy of the letter which by law I was supposed to receive indicating that they were going to sell this debt, to date I have not, only a letter of the fact after the sale occurred. It looks like arrogance seems to get in the way for people who think they are above the law. The best way to get sued is to attempt to collect this after I have given you the details of the facts, I suffer from XXXX and any pressure from anyone will be handled by my attorney including any damage done to me by you either financially or physically byway of mental pressure.

Consumer Complaint: So I have asked Midland credit management to stop with this debt I'm not sure who opened it but it was for sure not me I've asked them to prove that it was me they said they can and I have not seen no proof I would like them to get this off of my credit report as this is not mine I did not open that account I never knew anything about this account until I'm seeing it on my credit report go away as I never opened an account with midland I don't even know who they are I believe this was opened fraudulently with any knowledge of mine.
