Consumer Complaint: I reached out to Discover Card to get this sorted. Essentially, I set up a payment arrangement with them back in early 2020 because I experienced financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I was able to set up the arrangement only after being advised that I could only be eligible if the account was behind. The account is now current but the late fees are bringing down my score. Per SEC 4021 of the CARES Act, these late fees should be updated on my credit report for all 3 agencies. This has yet to happen.

Consumer Complaint: hello to whom to may concern i had autopay with discover bank and for one reason or another payment didn't get deducted and a late payment was reported in XX/XX/2021. i reached out to discover and they assured me that the late payment was reported by mistake, due to autopay not working and discover agreed to remove late payment from all credit bureaus. I spoke to XXXX from discover on XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XX/XX/XXXX pst, she discovered the mistake on there end and assured me late payments would be removed and even put it on her notes I confirmed this with sue from discover on XX/XX/2021 at XXXXXX/XX/XXXX pst. i even spoke to both of there supervisors and they also confirmed this.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a credit card with Discover through a soft credit inquery and was denied. I then only switched the value to the desired amount ( less ) for credit and resubmitted, though this time they treated it as a hard credit pull without explicitly stating this information up front. I've called Discover multiple times about this and they stand firm that they are right and I should have known that this minor adjustment within the application would trigger a hard credit pull. This is total XXXX XXXX that they are standing by this, they don't even know what the web portal looks like, but are comfortable saying I should have known. I've talked to them on the phone for hours and they are not helping me, it's mind blowing that they can stand firm on something they don't even know about, nobody I talk to even knows what the credit application looks like or includes. I want this removed, it is not right and Discover mislead me by saying it was a soft credit pull and did not clearly state this minor adjustment to the application would evolve into a hard credit pull.

Consumer Complaint: i received a discover credit card that replaces my old one. I'm not sure if this is a problem, the new one doesn't have the hologram on the back of the card. My old one does. This is a red flag for me because all of my credit cards have holograms on the back. And all of my moms and friends cards have holograms. I called discover and even used the chat function on discover website and I wasn't given a definitive answer. Stuff like some cards don't have the hologram on the back. I'm not sure why they would get rid of a feature like this that helps consumers identify fake cards. I am not sure what to do. Looks like my old card except for the hologram and new security code. There is no information on the discover website that helps me with pictures of a card, or information on holograms. I'm not sure what to do.

Because why would I make all these payments on a closed account. I demand a legitimate investigation because if I made XXXX payments what source did they come from. Going to the FTC because this is fraud towards a consumer. Answer my dispute my dispute is who was making all the fraudulent payments on a CLOSED ACCOUNT it is my right to find out this information from DISCOVER THIS IS FRAUD, it is my Right to find out, who when and where these XXXX PAYMENTS CAME FROM aging my account if they came from your report should show what BANK, CREDIT CARD and or Institution they came from.
