Consumer Complaint: This is regarding Discover Bank rejected outbound transfers that haven't been returned for 24 days or more. On XXXX XXXX, I scheduled 23 transfers from my Discover Checking to my XXXX XXXX XXXX. Each transfer is in different amount but the total is {$9600.00} ( see attached screenshot of my Discover activities XXXX. I got account suspension notices on XX/XX/XXXX immediately. I called in Discover XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the next morning on XX/XX/XXXX and was told suspension due to account name mismatched. This should not happened because Discover has verified my XXXX account with two small deposits on XX/XX/XXXX, as well as two successful transfers completed on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. ( see attached screenshot of my XXXX activities XXXX. Anyway, after the call, my account was reactivated on XX/XX/XXXX and those 23 transfers have been updated arrival date to XX/XX/XXXX. However, XXXX has never received them. I made another 3 calls to Discover to figure out and was told by 3 different banking specialists that all my transfers were rejected and will be back to Discover checking in 2 to 3 days. I also sent secure message via Discover online portal and this agent said Missing Transaction request was escalated on XX/XX/XXXX, asking me to wait 2 to 3 days again. However until today XX/XX/XXXX, I still don't receive my money! Neither have I received any emails regarding how they resolve the problem or escalate. No updated status of the funds. I am losing patience and don't trust Discover any more so I have to file this claim.

Consumer Complaint: Discover Bank has sent some convenience checks back in the years ( XXXX or XXXX ) l when discover credit card was opened for first time approximately in the year of XXXX in the amount of {$10000.00} or more was issued to the contractor in-between the year of XXXX. I have used that convenience check for home repair - ( finishing the basement ). XXXX took the full check amount - and did not complete work at my residence.I personally do not have any receipts from back than- due to convenience check goes to Discover Bank- & that balance was paid through one the mortgage company ( XXXX XXXX ) which was refinance to paid off the balance in XXXXfollowed by XXXX XXXX XXXX. Many family circumstances for hardships and struggles during that time - I have not took any further steps to resolve the fraud- On today 's note- I wanted to start these hope for furthering the investigation on these details- due to many other situations to clear for clearing the finances. I have not contacted discover card due to outstanding balance-that I owed to them- which they have brought into the court case- on XX/XX/XXXX. Since XXXXMyself had went through many many other financial hardships due to loss of income- family changes- along with the World Pandemic Lockdown in XXXXAs of today 's date of XX/XX/XXXX ( Monday ) many other areas are not completely stabilized due to many other reasons. I am receiving support from department of social services - such as medical & energy assistance.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021 Keep receiving this message with pre-qualification over and over again. My former account is paid in full and closed at my request when I lost my wallet. I advised the team at that time my bank account and all cards associated with me were closed as a precaution with new ones having been issued. My online portal was locked by your team during such time with card disabled. Your team advised auto-pay was still connected I advised to remove clearly and was told that no changes could be made by discover on behalf of the customer this would have to process several times and once the payments came back unpaid a number of times the feature would be disabled. The bank account was said to be pending closure for 30 days each time a transaction presented it kept the account for finalizing it's complete closure further delaying the process. I. have spoken with countless representatives at Discover all of with whom states they submitted for the card to be removed from revoked status given the circumstance they see it is paid off and there are countless notes on file advising the same. There are people with charged off accounts for thousands and you reissue I'm having to jump through hoops for a card I lost and requested closed at my request and that has a XXXX {$0.00} BALANCE? Unheard of.
