Consumer Complaint: Made purchase from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX # XXXX purchase price {$960.00} Item was not received. Many messages back and forth with seller, seller claimed, they had photos of delivery. and signature confirmation. Item was not delivered so I requested the photos and signature the seller claimed they had. The seller did not provide any documentation. Only told me the item was delivered. The XXXX tracking number clearly shows the item did come to XXXX Florida but was not delivered to my shipping address but ultimately delivered back to the seller in XXXX California on XXXX at XXXX XXXX. on XXXX I opened a dispute of the charges with Discover Card with which is the card I used for the purchase. I was issued a temporary credit on my account for the charge. On XX/XX/XXXX Discover card sent me a decision on the dispute and claimed the charge was valid and reinstated the charge back to my card amount {$960.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Discover card to discuss the matter, they requested that I upload additional documents, I did. They told me they would take a 2nd look at the dispute. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an update from my Discover card account that the transaction has again found to be valid. On XXXX I spoke with a customer service rep from XXXX, they reviewed my case on the phone and in less than 1 hour they agreed that the tracking number shows the item was not delivered to me but to it was delivered back to the seller. They told me this was clearly a case of fraud by the seller and that XXXX, com would be launching an investigation into the sellers fraudulent sellers actions. I have called Discover Card customer multiple times, a have not received a resolution from them.

Consumer Complaint: I am disappointed as a current Discover card customer with regard to their response to dispute XXXX. It is as if the representatives I had contacted through their chat and via the dispute page did not even read my dispute thoroughly or misunderstood the reason for my dispute. My most recent interaction was today XX/XX/XXXX. My prior chat interaction before that was on XX/XX/XXXX. The dispute was opened on XX/XX/XXXX. The last representative I contacted with Discover misunderstood the dispute as me needing to be charged an additional {$260.00}, but I was in fact disputing due to being overcharged {$260.00} from using the card as the remaining cash down payment funding for my XXXX XXXX motorcycle purchase from XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. They misunderstood that I was already refunded fully and made whole from the {$1000.00} credit that the store did issue for one of the charges made there ( which is explained further below ). I was left without resolution due to incompetence along with my case being closed despite attaching all the clear evidence I had including the bill of sale indicating the remaining down payment was for {$730.00}. The store charged my card {$1000.00} two times as the sales representative indicated their system was not working properly at the time and I was given assurance I would be refunded if I was overcharged ( this did happen ). The store did refund me one of the {$1000.00} charges, but the remaining {$260.00} that was owed to me is still outstanding.

Consumer Complaint: In Florida, Credit Card Debt Court Judicial Order stays 20 years with added fees, taxes and interest annually. Even when the Circuit Small Claims Court Action criminally violates Social Security Retiree and Disabled War Veteran Federally Protected from collections benefits which the Judge may verbally dismiss. Attempts to remedy by contacting attorneys, and Florida State Officials including the Attorney General as Florida Law also forbids actions against these fixed incomes meets with terminal despondency. I logged the complaint with The United States Department Of Just a number of times seeking enforcement of Federally Protected Social Security Retirement and Veteran AdministrationXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I survive on since XX/XX/2010. Single, age XXXX with no savings account living month to month. But the Department Of Justice failed to respond I supplied the Court with documented proof of Social Security and XXXX War Veteran XXXX Benefits that she verbally dismissed in XXXX Court Appearance threating me as a Defendant as a typical default " No Show '' waiving any and all defense ruling for the Plaintiff systematically. in Florida 's XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Then came Final Order ruling a debt collectable for 20 years with accumulating fees levied against exempt income willfully and wrongfully that nobody I contact, to date, assists me in remedy. I remind them I am a 100 % rated VA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and all of this complicates and compounds my XXXX XXXX defeating my regular XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Which is always ignored contacting a malpractice law firm attorney to bring action only ended up with " you have no case ''. My credit rating was maintained at XXXX when Discover Credit Card refused me twice on a debt consolidation loan which caused the crashing of my credit rating and default. There are two ends to any credit agreement yet for more than five years and all litigation Discover and the Circuit Court only support one and roil over me. Discover Credit Card has stalked me for going on five years unlike other credit card banks they staff a field of collections attorneys nationally and pursue greater profit yields for investors by singling out weak credit accounts then pursue civil litigation against the card holder, menacing unrelentingly.

Consumer Complaint: I was paying monthly to lower the balance on the card. Each month I was paying the bill, but 80 to 90 % of the payment was going to interest on purchases. The balance kept increasing. This happened every month. I got to the point I couldn't keep up with the bill. This seems to be what Discover had planned. i believe mostly to line their pockets and didn't care that i intended to concentrate on paying the balance. This occurred every month. The balance continued to grow and there was nothing I could do about it. After a period of time it was impossible to keep this up. I had to give up trying.

Consumer Complaint: Discover Bank has placed a restriction on my XXXX Account. I have called Discover with no solution. XX/XX/2023 at XXXX Spoke with XXXX and requested to disassociate/deactivate my phone number from Discover and XXXX. Representative stated that she had done this request. Couple days later, I am still not able to use XXXX with my other banking institutions due to my phone number still being linked with Discover. XX/XX/2023 at XXXX Spoke with Discover specialist XXXX , and she stated that the request was not fully completed and that she had to read me some disclaimers in order to disassociate my phone number and that it would take 15 days for this to be completed. XX/XX/2023 at XXXX Spoke with supervisor XXXX , mentioned that she confirmed that everything that Discover could do had been done on their end. There is nothing else that they can do. At this point, I still can not use my XXXX with another institution. No resolution found. She mentioned that my phone number was " deactivated and unblocked, '' and that I should not be encountering any issues trying to use XXXX with another bank. On this day, I also spoke with XXXX, a second level supervisor from XXXX who confirmed that my phone number shows that it is still restricted by Discover. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX to request a consumer report and they confirmed that Discover restricted my phone number due to " violation of XXXX Services Agreement, '' of which none of this was disclosed to me because everyone I spoke to from Discover confirmed that I should not be having any issues. I am currently lost for words and frustrated with this issue. I will be reaching out to Discover corporate ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT XXXX ) once I get my consumer report.

XXXX removed the fraudulent account from my credit report however, this month it illegally reappeared on my credit report although the account was closed in XXXX due to fraud. I really need this fraud account removed from my credit report because I never opened this account. I tried to do a report with FTC but they keep directing me to XXXX. Someone please reach out to me so we can handle this illegal issue soon because I will soon be reaching out to my lawyer.By law, this account can not continue to be on my credit report if the account was not opened by me. I asked Discovercard to send me a copy of my agreement to this particular term : " You stated that Discovercard can not overide the terms and condition you agree to when provide your Discover card account number as a method of payment to the merchant ... '' First of all I asked Discovercard to send me the terms and conditions I agreed to because I have no terms and conditions that state by giving my credit card number to a merchant it authorizes them to charge my account. They said they would send it but they never did and I did not agree to that. It is up to them to prove that I agreed to those terms and conditions. I reject this decision. ''

Consumer Complaint: Called Discover Home Loans about making online payment on XX/XX/2023. Payment was due on XX/XX/2023. Was never informed that automatic payment was set up. I made a payment of {$600.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, they took automatic payment of {$570.00} from my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and was given the option to request a refund of the {$600.00} payment. Was told I would receive a check by mail in 7-10 business days. As of yesterday I had not received the refund. I called and told they would open a new request and another 7-10 days, and they could accelerate it and refund electronically by XX/XX/XXXX. I was also told to expect a phone call from someone within 2-4 hours. I never received a phone call. I called again today 3 times trying to resolve the issue. Since I was never informed of the automatic payment being done, they failed to be honest about the terms of the loan. I would not have made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX if I had known the payment would be drafted the very next day. I was lucky enough that my checking account was not overdrawn.
