Consumer Complaint: I first explained to the office of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX my financial situation on XX/XX/XXXX. At that time, I had been XXXX free for two years, recovered from a 35-day Govt shutdown and a setback from COVID-19. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, that they had tried to contact me and work with me, but they had not heard from me. Which is not true. I had just contacted them two weeks prior in writing. I had contacted the original creditor 8 times for XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. All those communications were forwarded to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, to say I was not communicating was just not true. The correspondence I sent on XX/XX/XXXX, was opened, and returned by their offices, On XX/XX/XXXX. I proposed a payment arrangement and sent a {$25.00} money order as a good faith jester. That money order was not returned. I assume it was cashed. I was expecting a written confirmation of acceptance of the arrangement or return of the payment with alternative terms. To the contrary they seized the funds without any notification. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX garnished my checking, savings, and an account that belong to my daughter in the amount of {$3000.00} without any notification. This garnishment left me with no money to pay other obligations. I would like the garnishment returned and a reasonable payment arrangement to be made in writing.

Consumer Complaint: Stayed at a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX middle of XXXX and found out a couple days later that I was charged an extra {$500.00} fee. I asked the hotel about it and they told me it was a smoking fee. I never smoked in my hotel room. I told the hotel they made a mistake and there is no way someone smoked in my hotel room. I disputed the charge on my credit card with my credit card company called Discover. They refuse to remove the charge despite the hotel having no proof ( XXXX evidence! ) of smoking in my room during my stay.

Consumer Complaint: When the XX/XX/2022 payment was missed, Discover, against their own company policy and industry norms, failed to call me on the contact number on file or mail me hard-copy late notices to the physical contact address on file. Further, Discover lied and said that they did call me, even specifying dates, times, and phone numbers. Call logs on the various phone numbers show that no calls were made. Discover also lied about mailing hard-copy late notices. USPS Informed Delivery emails ( where hard-copy mail is scanned and sent to addressee in a daily email ) provide that no hard-copy late notices were mailed. NOTE : The XXXX bill was received. Discover 's website is also confusing ( see detailed remarks ) whereupon the place to verfiy email address was not properly labeled with its account number ( I have two accounts ). Lastly, Discover does not permit a client to set up automatic payments upon account opening or upon card receipt. Rather, client must wait for a balance due ( by which time, 4 months later, I personally forgot ).

Consumer Complaint: I was charged for an un-allowed carry-on without my knowledge on XX/XX/27. I measured my personal item bag in their designated space two separate times. Once at the ticket counter and once at the gate.It is a rolling backpack because I am XXXX. It fit perfectly both times. I was never told that it was an un-allowed carry-on and in fact, they made an announcement at the gate saying if you have an un-allowed carry-on, we will let you know so that you can pre-pay on your phone because it is cheaper than if we add the charge for you. I also took the same bag on the flight back home and was not charged or told it was an un-allowed carry-on. I had to measure it the exact same way as the departure flight. I contacted XXXX XXXX and they told me that since the charge happened at the gate they could not authorize a refund and I needed to talk to the XXXX office at the XXXX airport directly, but told me they did not have their phone number. I even called the XXXX XXXX directly and they also told me they did not have the phone number for the XXXX XXXX at their airport. I researched for the phone number and could not find it. I do not live in XXXX so I have no way of requesting a refund from them given that their corporate office will not help me. XXXX has also stopped responding to my emails. I believe I am being discriminated against because I am XXXX and my backpack is on wheels. I need my {$99.00} refunded. Discover closed my dispute case and will not refund the charge despite all of this information.
