Consumer Complaint: I recently called the company CREDIT ACCEPTANCE CORPORATION to obtain a wet signature of contract to verify they the debt was mine I received no response. I filed a CFPB and FTC complaint with the company. I receive nothing. They deleted from 2 credit bureaus expect one! They are damaging my credit which is a defamation to my character! They have not supplied the credit bureau or me with any verification. They have violated numerous laws! I am Demanding Deletion from my consumer report or else I'm going to pursue litigation. Ive called this company numerous times all I get is hung up on. previously disputed this account stating : " I never had a contract with this debt collector for any debt. Please provide proof from the original creditor that this debt collector owns this debt and has the legal authority to collect it or delete this account. ". failing to comply. ask for the bookkeeping entry and the chain of title for the debt never received it. Ive been disputing this company XXXX years! Ive sent letters after letters. It was never disclosed to me upon our initial agreement that I had the right to opt out or opt into sharing my privacy with a third party. In pursuant to title 15 U.S.C. 1681b ( 2 ) any information communicated or notated on my consumer report should be based on my written instructions. In pursuant to title 15 U.S.C. 1681c ( 4 ) No CHARGE OFF/COLLECTIONS should be notated on a consumer report without written consent and an adequate notice antedating 7 years.

Consumer Complaint: I reached out to the company back in XXXX about removal of the incorrect information on my credit report. They refused to do so I requested the payment information from the account. I was told I had to verify my email by email early XXXX from the company, so I did the information listed was incorrect. They later in the year sent me a letter from a lawyer to contact him even after they were notified the information was incorrect from the initial notice. At the time they were being sued for targeting lowering class citizens and charging interest rates that were above the regulated state requirement. I was also in that category of targeted people. I was waiting the opportunity to go to court. I later received a call from a lawyer saying they could represent me in a lawsuit I knew nothing about I asked them what they were referring to because I was not aware of being sued. She informed me to call my local courts and I did they told me that a summons would be brought to me and it was filed by the company on XX/XX/XXXX. I waited to hear back from the company lawyer after leaving several voicemails and no response. I waited for the company to resolve the issue and then I received a letter from the court stating the case was dismissed XX/XX/XXXX. I tried to get the company to remove the wrong information from me and my co-signer report but they have still not done it. I then received a lean release document from them on XX/XX/XXXX. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and it is still on our reports. I would like them removed immediately and any inquiries associated with the company.

It only shows up on my XXXX XXXX creditors. This car was given back to the car dealership because it started having transmission problems a month after I got it. I had them come pick the car up.
