Consumer Complaint: I made a deposit of {$1000.00} at XXXX XXXX PST XX/XX/XXXX from my XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account. I also made a second deposit of {$1000.00} at XXXX XXXX PST XX/XX/XXXX from my XXXX XXXX XXXX checking account. I was sent an email ensuring that all my funds would arrive within 2-4 business days so that I would be able to utilize them. At the time of writing, it is XXXX PST XX/XX/XXXX and my funds have not arrived yet. I have tried calling the customer support of Coinbase, but they have been of no help to me. They say that " the funds will eventually arrive '' but I have plans with the money that have been postponed due to the delay.

Consumer Complaint: My account on XXXX has been temporarily suspended and there is no sign of them opening it. My bank reversed a transaction and it had locked my account down. I 've contacted coinbase several times and this issue has went unresolved and unanswered. I sat on hold one night for 2 hours just to be told that it was escalated and have a nice day. Since then, I 've not received one response back. On XX/XX/XXXX I asked about a {$300.00} transfer that was sent to binance by myself, but never showed up. Case # XXXX and that went unresolved. XX/XX/XXXX ( # XXXX ) was when the account locked down and I also have $ 300+ in there. I 'm been removed from the {$600.00} I put in it between the transfer to XXXX that did n't go, and the other half that they are holding hostage on there exchange. Case number # XXXX Case number # XXXX follow up from call, still no action. # XXXX. Final reply no resolution

Consumer Complaint: I wired {$3000.00} usd on XX/XX/XXXXto my gdax account. Everything I read on coinbase.com and gdax.com said that wire transfers were credited same day. There was no indication there would be a delay in processing at this time. This was misleading. I do n't remember exactly when but a few days after my wire XXXX says there may be delays in wire processing ( even now XX/XX/XXXX Coinbase.com says they have cleared the back log although they clearly have not ) XX/XX/XXXX Case # XXXX I submit a request to support, I receive a generic computer generated response. This is acceptable for the first 3 days in my opinion. Its been 3 weeks almost to the day, my money has not been credited to my gdax.com account and I have not received any other responses. I am extremely upset about not receiving a response from a real person who could lend some information and help me. This is unacceptable from any business, especially a money transmitter. Summary NO Customer Care at all You are rolling the dice with coinbase/gdax hoping that everything goes right I would not recommend this XXXX XXXX or exchange to anyone right now ( browse the XXXX /coinbase, I am far from the only person with this experience )

Consumer Complaint: I submitted a withdrawal request via wire transfer on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$10000.00} from GDAX ( owned by Coinbase ). Wire transfer was promised to be processed with the funds available in my bank account within 1 business day. I submitted a request to GDAX to address the missing funds on XX/XX/XXXX. I then followed up again on XX/XX/XXXX with another request for GDAX to address my missing funds. They have not replied to either requests, and my funds have not been returned.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - Initiate a withdrawal of XXXX USD XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - Company sends two automated emails. One confirming the withdrawal with a reference number. The second email saying they are unable to process because of a name mismatch. ( See attached " Company correspondence 1 '' and " Company correspondence 2, PDF Files ) XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - Contact support. I had since updated my account details and ensured that my CoinBase account details match my bank details. Support does not answer my question and thinks I am trying to suggest a new feature for their platform. ( See attached Support Thread 1, PDF File ) XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - Automated email saying that the transaction can not be proccessed. The company is still saying the names do n't match. ( See company correspondence 3, PDF ) XXXX/XXXX/XXXX - I receive another email out of the blue about a {$0.00} purchase. I do not know what they are referring to. ( See company correspondence 4, PDF ) When I log in to my account, it is now locked and not fully functional. The withdrawal was canceled, yet my account balance is {$0.00} and I can not view my account or withdrawal history. There is no way for me to re-initiate a withdrawal, and the company refuses to tell me specifically what is wrong with my account details, and how I can fix it. The money is simply missing now.

Consumer Complaint: I made a series of sales of virtual currencies on Coinbase on the following dates, for the following amounts and with the following reference numbers issued by Coinbase {$4800.00} USD XXXX XXXX XXXX {$2800.00} USD XXXX XXXX XXXX {$5000.00} USD XXXX XXXX XXXX {$200.00} USD XXXX XXXX XXXX {$130.00} USD XXXX XXXX XXXX The destination I chose for the proceeds was my bank account. I was told expected payout for each transaction would be the following day. Then I saw elsewhere on the site that it would take 4 to 6 business days for funds to arrive. The sales on the XXXX and XXXX did not arrive until XXXX XXXX, a full 12 and 13 business days after the sales. The remaining transactions have yet to arrive. It has been 9 and 10 business days since the transactions on the XXXX and XXXX. I have sent repeated inquiries to Coinbase over the past two weeks to no avail. They have yet to respond. Their XXXX for their support functions also has ignored my repeated XXXX and direct messages. In the time that these funds have been in transit, I could have earned a decent return on them.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX, I wired coinbase {$9000.00} to be credited to my virtual currency account on XXXX. At the time of the wire the company coinbase said it was a 2 to 3 DAY DELAY for Incoming wires to be credited to accounts. After waiting several days ( 10 ) I contacted the company via their support services online and requested an answer to where my funds were. Coinbase gave me a generic response telling me to wait more. I then called them a few days later and the customer service rep told me they never received any wire under my name and that my issue would be escalated to priority and solved within the next 2 days. When they told me he could not find my wire l, I called their Bank to confirm they received my money and their Bank which is the XXXX bank in New York confirmed coinbase received my money on XXXX XXXX, XXXX, one day after I wired it. With this information I then contacted coinbase several times through their email support, on social media and by phone again, always being told it 's going to be escalated. It has been over 23 days, coinbase refuses to tell me why my money is not being credited or returned and why they lied about their promise time of 2 to 3 days. Because of this I have lost opportunities to invest and they are holding my funds without any say from me.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased XXXX dollars worth of Bitcoin on the XXXX app Coinbase on XX/XX/XXXX, and sold XXXX dollars worth of Bitcoin on XX/XX/XXXX. I have not yet received my funds which were supposed to arrive no later than XX/XX/XXXX. I have contacted Coinbase " support '' through multiple facets, such as IM on their website, email, and phone, but it is to absolutely NO AVAIL. This is incredibly disappointing, as I have essentially been robbed of my money. One must take self accountability to losing money due to poor investments, however this is just plain FRAUD and theft. Coinbase has only responded to me once with the " We are looking into your issue and are working hard to resolve this '' type of message ... 2 weeks ago. I am a struggling college student and I have definitely learned my lesson -- but I need my money back. Please help.
