Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Coinbase arbitrarily locks me out of my account on all devices, I fill in correct email, password, and 2FA code and they say that I was selected to have to click an email verification link. They do not send the email. Tried 10 times, no email, tried on my computer, same problem XX/XX/XXXX Same problem, no response from Coinbase support, ethereum prices tanking, I am unable to buy more I strongly suspect they locked me out because I buy every time it dips and suspect they have done this systematically to accounts like mine to assist them in manipulating markets and further tanking prices to scare newer investors out of their holdings

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2018 I purchased XXXX ETH and XXXX LTC for {$2100.00} USD and {$860.00} USD respectively through https : //www.coinbase.com. On their site, they indicate they advertise that after business 3-5 days, the ACH payment will process, and then they will provide the currency " instantly '' once the bank processes the payment ( see photo 3 for their advertisement of the process ). Based upon their advertising, my understanding was that I would receive the ETH and LTC within 3-5 business days from the time the ACH was initiated. On XX/XX/XXXX, the funds for the aforementioned purchases went out ( see image 4 ). At the very latest, per their advertisement ( image 3 ), funds should have been available by that friday, XX/XX/XXXX. By not having access to my funds and by falsely advertising when my funds would be available, I have experienced a tangible loss in value as the value of ETH & LTC have fallen substantially. Numerous other instances of Coinbase defrauding customers and cancelling or delaying transactions when it is convenient to them can be found online. I believe they are buying currency and fulfilling orders as the price suits them, rather than at the appropriate time when the funds are received per their advertised image 3. Customer support has been completely unresponsive to any inquiries and I 've received no responses from them. There has been no action from Coinbase despite taking my money 7 business days ago.

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase.com has locked me out of my account and will not respond. I was locked out when I attempted to open an account with XXXX, their sister-company, which shares login credentials. After attempting to enter my Coinbase account credentials, as instructed, I was locked out of both XXXX and Coinbase accounts. I 'm unsure how much of my money Coinbase is currently holding as I 've not been able to check my balance. I initiated the following trouble tickets, neither of which has gotten any sort of response from their support department. I also spent 2.5 hours on XX/XX/XXXX on their support number ( XXXX ) where I was told that the account was locked in error and that they would escalate the issue and that it would be resolved in approximately 5 days. ( They made the same statement in an email I received from them on XX/XX/XXXX. See email text below ... ) Existing tickets : XX/XX/XXXX # XXXX XX/XX/XXXX # XXXX After calling in, I got the following email response from Coinbase ( date : XX/XX/XXXX ) : > Hello, and thanks for reaching out. > > Ive taken a look at your account and it appears that you are not currently eligible to create a purchase order. This restriction may have been applied in error. > Ive just escalated your case to our subject experts who will be completing a review of your purchasing eligibility shortly. > You will receive a notification email if were able to restore your purchasing ability. > Please note that while these reviews are typically completed within 4-5 business days, it can sometimes take longer depending on our current case volume. > For security reasons, Coinbase can not guarantee eligibility for every account. If your account has experienced chargebacks in the past this, as an example, can impact your eligibility.
