Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I submitted a wire transfer request from my bank to Coinbase to fund my Coinbase account. The wire transfer I submitted was for {$5000.00}. Wire transfers are supposed to post immediately. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from Coinbase informing me that they could not apply the funds to my account due to a naming mismatch. In the message Coinbase stated that it could take up to seven business days to process the refund / redeposit. It also stated that in case you do n't receive the funds within 7 days to contact them via a support email address. ( XXXXXXXXXXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX I emailed Coinbase to get an update and received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX I emailed Coinbase to get an update and received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX I emailed Coinbase to get an update and received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX I called Coinbase support and after explaining the situation I was told that my ticket was going to get prioritized and that I was going to get an update as soon as possible. Now a week later, I have yet to receive any kind of update.

Consumer Complaint: Case # XXXX. My name is XXXX XXXX and this complaint is regarding an outgoing wire that was I was told would occur on XX/XX/XXXX. OnXX/XX/XXXXI wired XXXX USD to Coinbase XXXX from my XXXX account which is under the name XXXX XXXX ( this is my maiden name ). The federal reference number for this wire was XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX Coinbase sent me an email informing me that they did received the wire ; however, due to a name mismatch ( my maiden name vs my married name ) they would be reversing the wire. It is nearly 20 days later and my wire has not been reversed. I have followed-up with them on the status of this matter multiple times ( at least 10 ) to no avail. I have conducted multiple wires during the course of my lifetime and never has it taken longer than 3 days. Normally 1 to 2 days. Not only has it been nearly 20 days since I was told that I would receive my wire and have not received my wire, but they are grossly negligent in their communication. On 2 occasions I have been sent an email saying that they will have someone look into the problem with absolutely no follow-up or accountability. This concerns me because if you look on social media and the internet at large ( I am certain that you 've received other complaints ) Coinbase has a history of taking peoples money ( not giving them access via account freezes, or wire disputes ) for VERY long periods of time without any communication. This is completely unacceptable and I have never experienced such blatant disregard by a financial institution of their fiduciary responsibility. This is borderline grossly negligent. Please keep in mind that the while I have been waiting for 20 days, there are others that have had this problem for months.

But, They have not returned my money from the Litecoin sale. This company is also holding more than 1000 of mine in other cryptocurrencies and I 'm very worried that I may not be able to get it back.

Consumer Complaint: I made a XXXX transfer of XXXX EURO from my XXXX XXXX account to Coinbase on XXXX XXXX 2018. I have since discovered that XXXX uses XXXX to process its XXXX payments. I have also subsequently discovered that Coinbase do not accept XXXX transfers from XXXX, although Coinbase failed to indicate this. I understand my transfer was therefore rejected by Coinbase, however it was returned to XXXX without the required account information for it to come back to my XXXX account. I have been informed by XXXX that the ONLY way I can get the money back is if Coinbase completes and sends me an XXXX form with the required information for the money to be returned to my XXXX account from XXXX. I have tried to contact XXXX repeatedly via email and telephone to resolve this but have not had any response as yet. It has been weeks and I am very concerned about the whereabouts of my money and quite frankly the lack of concern and assistance from XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I made a wire transfer that should have taken 1 day to come in for {$1900.00} to XXXX using my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX account. XXXX sent the wire over and XXXX has the money. I followed step by step and walked through with a support agent on the phone and they told me I did everything right. Their response was through email : Hi there XXXX, Im happy to look into this for you. Can you provide the following information? -Date transaction initiated -Name on the depositing account ( please include all names if its a joint account, or business account ) -The amount sent -IMAD number/Reference number for the transaction This will assist us in locating your deposit. Thanks, XXXX Support Team -- -- -- I replied back 5 mins later : Date transaction initiated : X/XX/2018 Name on depositing account : XXXX XXXX Amount Sent : {$1900.00} Reference Number : -- -- -- -- - ( not sure if i should include this ) -- -- 4 days later no response from their team and they refuse to give an ETA on when the wire will transfer when it was supposed to be a 1 day transfer. I even paid the extra {$10.00} fee for the 1 day transfer, and now we border 4 days, no response, no ETA, no communication. This is ridiculously absurd because tons of people have had issues with XXXX wire transfers not coming in through as promised. Reading up on some stories, it took a 1 day wire transfer 1 month to come through and several other testimonials with things like this. Please help me get what was promised from the company XXXX Thank you, Best, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I initiated a US wire withdrawal from Coinbase for {$1300.00} on the XX/XX/XXXX. It was supposed to deliver on XXXX XXXX but it still has not after 46 XXXX DAYS. Other customers have recently requested withdrawals and received their funds within hours or a few days. I made a complaint through CFPB 2 weeks ago and the response form Coinbase was that my case was being escalated and a specialist would reach out. I RECEIVED THIS RESPONSE 2 MONTHS AGO AND IS IDENTICAL TO EVERY SUBSEQUENT RESPONSE YOU GAVE ME OVER THE LAST 2 MONTHS. Just look at any of the cases Coinbase opened ( which i asked you to stop opening ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
