Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX was the last time I made a purchase from Coinbase. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was hit with the following charges and their corresponding 'international service fees ' : {$100.00}, {$0.00} service fee, {$200.00}, {$1.00} service fee, {$750.00}, {$6.00} service fee. These charges seem to be duplicated because on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I made purchases in the amount of {$100.00}, {$750.00} and {$200.00}. I immediately tried to contact Coinbase by phone but was unable to speak with a live person. I submitted a ticket on their website but have not hear back. I realize it has only been a day but a lack of {$1000.00} is detrimental to me. My bank does not recognize this as fraud since I have done business with Coinbase before, although they were able to open an investigation and dispute the charges.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018 I purchased {$98.00} of cryptocurrency from Coinbase and used my visa debit for payment. The transaction was successful however I noticed the next day they charged me {$98.00} twice but only credited my coinbase account with {$98.00}. After speaking to my bank they said in 10 days the extra charge would likely be returned. On XX/XX/XXXX it was returned, however this morning XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) another charge for {$98.00} hit my bank account. This is an unauthorized tranasaction and I haven't received any funds in my coinbase account.

Wanted to Transfer it to another exchange and bam 3 days Payment locked, but i can unlock the transaction faster if i upload my id ( again ) to verify. Ok no problem uploaded it XXXX times always unable to verify my identity and then i got banned and my account got XXXX. Hey just write a support ticket ... .. i cant write a support ticket on a XXXX ACCOUNT. ok so i opened a second account and contacted XXXX and XXXX from support staff in XXXX with a ticket id, none of them replied. But i got a answer on my ticket from the new i account i made : Thank you for contacting Coinbase Support. I apologize for the delay in responding to your email and for all the trouble. I will now be closing this ticket and will be responding to the original ticket you created that was sent from the said XXXX email address. to my old XXXX ACCOUNT rly guys? i cant answer or login or read the ticket on my old account. Consumer Complaint: I have been buying bitcoin and ethereum on XXXX XXXX for a few months now and this is the first issue iv had, and yet its a big one. Coinbase charged me twice for most if not all my transactions. Onc3 on the day i purchesed them, and then they charged me the same amount for all my purchases again on XXXX. XXXX, 2018. I have included my online bank statements. The ones with the red mark next to them are the second charge and the ones with the blue are the original charge on the day i purchased. I also provided my coinbase purchase history where i outlined all my transactions in purple. I have tried to contact support mant times and can not seem to get ahold or get through via email or phone. My Case number with coinbase is XXXX

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX I made a {$100.00} purchase from Coinbase.com They debited my card {$100.00}, then hours later another {$100.00}, which was unauthorized. Then last night XX/XX/XXXX another {$100.00} was removed from my card, I did not authorize this transaction. The incident on the XXXX caused three missed payments and an NSF fee from my bank of {$140.00}. I have canceled my credit card for fear of another unauthorized purchase. I contacted coinbase with multiple case numbers XXXX XXXX + XXXX + XXXX, and today for the {$100.00} case number XXXX. I have made 3 phonecalls to their support, but all they do is write up an email and send it to another level of email support, whomhave not contacted me back.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/17 I contacted my bank to do a wire transfer to XXXX. The amount of {$10000.00} was wired from my bank ,XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , to XXXX 's bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX . XXXX had to get some more info from me before the deposit into XXXX 's account could be made. I supplied the information and the money was transferred. I waited for it to show up on the site in my account. I called after 5 days support had told me they were backed up and that it would be deposited in my account shortly. I have called them 2 to 3 times a week since then having no luck with them. I have emailed and called asking for my money back to no avail. They emailed me usually after each call i made to assure me the matter was being looked into. Its been over 4 months now it feels like a scam. I need help.

Consumer Complaint: I have a coinbase account with 2 factor authentication. That worked great until i replaced my phone and had to reinstall the authentication app. The catch is that you need the app to login, but the only way to install the app is to be logged in. Coinbase was unable to give me access so they instead had me create a new account and then they transferred my money into the new account. However, i later had transfers into the old account and they were unable to give me access to transfer the coins into my new account. I went back and forth with them for over a month and they were very slow to respond and i eventually gave up. here is the latest communication. i haven't heard anything in a month Hi there, Im working with a specialist to review and finalize your balance transfer. The massage was advising me if I do not comply with their request till XX/XX/XXXX my account would be frozen. Never the less they froze my account the same day XX/XX/XXXX? The provided link worked only within several days, but I could provide the information before the limit date. Since than XX/XX/XXXX, may account is frozen. I haven't access to it at all. I even can not see if my funds are still there. I got an answer from the customer only XX/XX/XXXX that they forward my issue to a superviser who will check my account. 15 days have past, nothing has changed.

Consumer Complaint: Money wire deposit not received. I sent a wire deposit to Coinbase in the amount of {$26000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, It is now XX/XX/XXXX. They state on their website that money wires typically take 1-2 days. This fiasco cost me {$94000.00} and counting on just one investment. I am utterly disgusted with them and they make me wan na XXXX every single day. If they cant handle to take on extra business then they should not allow new customers until they get properly staffed. I absolutely hate incompetence. It wasnt till after I read all the other complaints on XXXX about customers with the same issue before I realized I had a real, and even more serious problem. Some customers havent received their money going on two months! Im hearing rumors that Coinbase is a Ponzi scheme, that they are borrowing our money as long as they can interest free, etc. Im going with fraud/scam though because I havent received it as promised. People involved are XXXX XXXX and Coinbase. XXXX XXXX confirmed that Coinbase received the wire, but when I call Coinbase they tell me they have no record of it. I also have no record of any pending transaction on coinbase. So either XXXX XXXX blatantly lied, Coinbase has it but dont want to release it to me, or XXXX has it. Thats for you guys to figure out. In this case I really hope XXXX has it because I heard if you give, you shall receive 10 fold. That would give me my losses back and some. My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB and FBI. If you suggest any other avenues of approach please let me know.
