Consumer Complaint: I opened up an new account with Coinbase on XX/XX/XXXX and followed steps correctly to receive XXXX dollars in XXXX, and I even got confirmation emails ( in the email chain attached, and sent to Coinbase but no response from them ). This support ticket was # XXXX. I also followed all steps correctly for recurring payments of min. XXXX USD and on the XXXX and XXXX recurring payment I would receive XXXX USD in XXXX each, totaling XXXX dollars in XXXX ( attached proof ) This would in total be XXXX + XXXX = XXXX dollars worth of XXXX Coinbase owes me. I attempted to email them and received generic and nonhelpful replies which seemed like no one read my responses. I also reached out to them on XXXX, and their support contacted me notifying they would check in on this ( but never did ). On XX/XX/2021 I received an email stating they closed the support ticket, but there was never any solution nor response ever again. I am just asking to receive my XXXX dollars worth of XXXX, as all steps were followed and I tried every way to get a resolution, and it has been around 2 months with no response or solution. I have also contacted and filed a complaint with the XXXX on XX/XX/2021 in hopes of getting a solution, but when I contacted XXXX as of today there is still no response from Coinbase.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, On XX/XX/2021, I had my entire balance of {$100000.00} in XXXX XXXX transferred out of my Coinbase wallet to an unknown wallet address without my authorization. I have tried contacting Coinbase regarding this matter, however they kept restating that if balance was withdrawn from my wallet without approval, it means my account phrase was compromised. I created my Coinbase wallet account less than 2 weeks ago, and I know for a fact that I did not share my recovery phrase with anyone. No one could possibly have access to my account, especially when I have a password too. The total amount of {$100000.00} XXXX lost is my life saving, If I can't get this money back, I don't know what to do anymore... If there are any additional information I could provide, please let me now. Please help me... Thank you very much...

Consumer Complaint: hi, This complain is against COINBASE.COM, a currency exchange. I have opened the account in XXXX and deposited money to purchase digital assets. Since then I was only able to use just a couple of time it's locked most of the time with a message ACCOUNT UNDER REVIEW. I have a few XXXX worth of asset in the account and it does not allow me to withdraw, sell or let me perform any other transactions. It's been a few months now and I need my fund back. I have opened several support tickets but support tickets are closed without unlocking my account as if they are programmed to close the ticket in a week or so. I have list of about XXXX to XXXX tickets unresolved and still have XXXX active. Being in US this is the first company I have dealt with where there is no Human live customer support. I am frustrated and need attention asap thanks

Consumer Complaint: Re : Fraud on Debit Visa Debit Account|Case # XXXX On XX/XX/21 I received an email from coinbase stating, Action needed : your Coinbase Card is suspended. The email went on to explain that they discovered a phishing attempt from a number of fraudulent merchants. They noticed suspicious transactions from one or more of these merchants on my Coinbase Card and have suspended it for my safety. On XX/XX/21, I called them to inform them to cancel the card and close the account as I did not make the charges. I was informed by the VISA Card support Team phone center that I had to send an email. I informed them that I did not have access the the charges and they provide me with the following : Merchant name : XXXX XXXX Date/time of transaction : XXXX XXXX Transaction amount : {$48.00} Merchant name : XXXX XXXX Date/time of transaction XXXX XXXX XXXX Transaction amount : {$54.00} Since then I had made several calls and have sent several emails requesting for my funds to be credited back to my account with no resolve. I call and the VISA Card support Team phone center says they can not assist and I must correspond via email. All I receive back are changing case numbers and cryptic email messages.

There are many complaints against this company from many consumers for the same issue. I believe it was an inside job.

Consumer Complaint: Good evening, For the second time in few months, I got exactly the same problem with the same company ( Coinbase ), where I got my account restricted and under review for a long time without any good explanation and solution on time. Last time the problem was in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and after a complaint on your website I got a solution. But again I have the same issue without any good explanation from XXXX. My new problem with my account under review has started again 1 week ago ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and still no solution. Here I just copy exactly the same text of the previous complaint because is just the same problem as before but just re-starting from XX/XX/XXXX : " In XX/XX/XXXX I have created an account on Coinbase to start buying and selling crypto-currencies. To achieve that I was requested to upload all the necessary documents to prove my identity and validate my account. All was done properly and since then in XX/XX/XXXX I have been using the account without any problem. All this time ( from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX ) the account was ok and I was able to operate and perform different purchases that I still have currently on my Coinbase wallet. But since XX/XX/XXXX, I got a message on my account saying that my account is under review and I'm not able to operate at all with this money. It's not possible to buy, sell, withdraw, transfer or perform absolutely any kind of operations except to view your balance. All this time, since XX/XX/XXXX, I was trying to get a solution from the Coinbase Support without absolutely any kind of proper solution or explanation. The best replay I get was something like : " We are working on your review and we appreciate your patience and understanding ''. I didn't get any estimate of the time required to complete the process, not either an explanation about why they started this process or how can I accelerate or help to complete the process. Unfortunately the Coinbase Consumer Support is absolutely useless, without any options to contact personally with an operator or even get a proper email communication with an operator. You will get only a kind of automatic replays or simple replays with no information or help at all. My current problem is that I'm unable to perform any kind of operations with my account under review and I have no solution or estimate time to get it completed. All this time I was missing chances to trade with my cryptocurrencies and hence missing a lot of opportunities to increase my balance. At this moment the only thing I need is to get this problem sorted out, my Coinbase account review finished and be able to have back the control of my account. I will appreciate your help and support to get a solution for this and I will propose to raise an advertisement to all Coinbase clients that this issue could happen to anyone at anytime without previous alert, blocking completely all kind of operations in the accounts and without an explanation about the reasons or possible ways to solve it. '' I hope to get the problem sorted out again as soon as possible, and fix the recurrent problems with my account review from Coinbase, and hopefully the issue will not happen again. I believe that it's not acceptable this issues 2 times in just few months. Thanks a lot and best regards

Consumer Complaint: Im from XXXX and i created an account in Coinbase to buy cryptos, i had to verified my identity, they asked me a national ID, after that, they sent an email that says you are verified. When you are verified, you can buy and sell cryptos, so i buy some cryptos but now i cant sells it and i cant receive my money. I tried to contact with costumer services but they cant solve the problem. They are dont telling me why i cant sell. The costumer services are so awful, I red some reviews on internet and there are a lot of people with the same problem. It looks like a scam.

Consumer Complaint: My Coinbase account was hacked around XXXX, and I have a case # XXXX. I was getting some respounce but nothing anymore, I can sent all the emails I sent them. and they sent me. I found out about the hack on XXXX, I put a lock on the account and no transactions were going to be allowed and they put a holt on the account for 24-48 hours because of suspicious activity, I got someone on the phone and they said the account will be put on hold, But all transactions went through now I have XXXX in account .... This is one of the emails I sent Case # XXXX I would like my account back like it was before I was hacked on your site. I had {$4000.00} cash and some coin about {$200.00} in Dogecoin before XXXX what is going on over there someone needs to contact me. I would like to send all the emails so that you can see the email trail.

The attacker was able to sell XXXX ATOMs for {$8000.00} USD ( not including fees ) and withdraw the money using their debit card. I have tried numerous times to get information and guidance regarding this issue, but I've only received the static IP address of the attacker. This information was given in late XXXX. Since then, Coinbase has been unwilling to assist me in any capacity regarding this matter.
