Consumer Complaint: I contacted Jefferson Capital, I'm trying to pay off and on a debt. I was given an option to submit a " one time payment '', if I couldn't pay the above options and others. My account on the website allowed me to submit a lesser amount. I contacted Jefferson Capital to verify the option and they would not answer or confirm the accuracy of that option however it was offered to settle the debt with my own personal offer. The agent insisted I choose the other options ( higher amounts ). The agent was trying to justify and explain but he wasn't making any sense of the option. I felt he was trying to confuse me and con me into paying the other higher amounts. I told the agent I would call back, moments later, Jefferson Capitol locked me out of my account and the message said " my account in ineligible for web service '', only calling was an option. This is deceptive and unfair, now they are not allowing me to log in and view my account to make a payment. They do not want me choosing the lesser amount option and I feel they may alter my account. I took screen shots of my account and the options.

Consumer Complaint: They repeatedly called and harassed me. And hung up on me. They blocked my calls, they refused to verify the alleged debt. They have refused payment for a alleged debt that I was never contacted about by them. Thai debt appears to have happened during the whole COVID 19 lockdown. Nor was I ever given a chance to question or pay the debt before they ran up the bill by filing a frivolous lawsuit against me through Love, XXXX and XXXX. Who also still to date have not supplied me with anything supporting the debt. They also refuse to accept payment to remove the debt and or lawsuit complaint. I have talked to people at the Love, XXXX, and XXXX trying office 3 times of which all 3 times they refuse payment and or removing the debt from my credit. They have told me 3 times they would mail a letter which they have not nor have they made me aware that they are suing me. I found that information myself on oscn.com after they acted suspicious. I contacted them 2 times on XX/XX/2023 and again on XX/XX/2023. I wrote down the people name and the time of refusal. This is a malicious attempt to hurt somebody's credit for no reason. This is not XXXX We are not on a social credit system therefore you should not be able to attack somebody in the manner they are attacking me and my credit. Abuse of process and power.
