Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX JEFFERSON CAPITAL SYSTEMS XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX After reading Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 section 602 where it says, " There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. '' XXXX is a consumer reporting agency and Im the consumer. I know i have the right to make sure my private information isn't shared which is backed by 15 USC 6801 which says that " '' It is the policy of the Congress that each financial institution has an affirmative and continuing obligation to respect the privacy of its customers and to protect the security and confidentiality of those customers nonpublic personal information. '' As I inform that the financial institution and the Consumer reporting agency like XXXX do not have my consent to furnish this information and they surely do not have my written consent. Any and all consent to XXXX, Furnisher of information to credit agency whether it be verbal, non-verbal, written, implied or otherwise is revoked. 15 USC 6802 ( b ) ( c ) says " A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. '' The Furnisher of information to the credit agency Never informed me of my right to exercise my nondisclosure option. According to 15 USC 1681C ( a ) ( 5 ) says '' Except as authorized under subsection ( b ), no consumer reporting agency may make any consumer report containing any of the following items of information Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years. '' This account is an adverse item XXXX is reporting again without my permission and that is against the law. According to 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 ( A ) ( 1 ) it says " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e states '' Every consumer reporting agency shall maintain reasonable procedures designed to avoid violations of section 1681c of this title and to limit the furnishing of consumer reports to the purposes listed under section 1681b of this title. XXXX are not maintaining reasonable procedures. And9 12 CFR 1016.7 says " A consumer may exercise the right to opt out at any time. '' I am opting out of your reporting services.

Section 611 of the FCRA grants me the right to dispute any inaccurate information on my credit report and request its prompt investigation. Therefore, I kindly request that you take the following actions : 1. Conduct a thorough investigation into the reported account, including verifying the accuracy of the account information, its association with my personal details, and any supporting documentation or agreements related to the account. 2. Consumer Complaint: Around XXXX XXXX unpaid bill was put on my credit report stating an account was open and had unpaid bill. Told company I was a victim of identity theft when my wallet was stolen. I have had XXXX service almost my whole life until this day. The dates in which they say this was open align with stolen identity account was open online not in person which allowed the person to open fraudulently. Have tried multiple times to explain and get this issues resolved over years with no success.

The company responded by saying this debt was sold to Jefferson capital system who never responded to me. I asked for debt validation and verification and they did not respond. It has surpassed their 30 days in dispute. I do not owe this debt it does not belong to me. Looking at the 3b credit report you will notice several inaccuracies with this reporting. This information is inaccurate, untrue, not complete, no whole. The information is inconsistent and does not belong to me. Please stop selling this debt and delete from my report thank you

Consumer Complaint: Jefferson capital collections try to illegally contact me at my moms property and officer was told on camera when Im being represented with an private attorney that i was already in an ongoing law suit with this creditor for my credit report actions and hardships i had to endure, i was then hit with a law suit to she summons in person when i told the officer i was already being represented by an attorney These people violated the state Arizona law for fdcpa regulations on approaching a debt collection thats been sold to a third party they also threatened to garnish private wages and thats also highly illegal for third party collection agency in Arizona i need this legally dissolved or they need to settle with me any way i can pay a settlement but no more then a couple hundred due to health expenses

Consumer Complaint: XXXX the phone company has stated that I owe them money for a phone bill while I was on XXXX XXXX XXXX. Not only was it illegal what they did since I was on XXXX XXXX XXXX and I actually went into their store to pause our services during XXXX time. They were charging me {$120.00} so I went ahead and paid it. Theyve continued to sell the debt to different collection agencies. Ive now paid the same debt twice. A new collection agency Jefferson capital systems is now hounding me to pay this debt. I have sent them receipts of other transactions that Ive paid for the same debt. I have called their office. They never have anyone that answers the phone and they instruct me that my account is to be handled by a different phone number, which is not a working number. I have emailed them and texted them copies of the receipts. No ones gotten back to me and they continuously add the negative debt to my credit report. I feel as though theyve broken many laws and rules both Jefferson capital and XXXX XXXX. Id like this debt removed from my credit ASAP given all of this evidence.

Jefferson shared or gave either or this account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Texas, the XXXX of the world where XXXX was XXXX.. The account was PAID IN FULL on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX See Cashiers Check and corresponding letter. Approx. 2 weeks later I began being harrassed by phone 20 calls per day, and harrassed in person ( with police reports to confirm ) and have continued to be harrassed in person to this day by 2 other companies that were the next to ones to contact me XXXX XXXX, XXXX. from XXXX XXXX, Iowa and XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX. The serious in field harrassment has continued for years now..We are now filing this second complaint from the fitst set of complaints filed on XX/XX/XXXX with CFPB. Nthing has changed.. We are niw filing criminal complaints with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX . and the XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX along with a civil lawsuit in tbe amount of XXXX XXXX dollars for compensatory and personal damages. We have sworn testimony and video as well as photography over 6 years to prove it all..My legal name was changed back to my birth name in XXXX from XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX. No more games. Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC will take full responsibility for having taken over the original file from XXXX. At tbis point under the laws that govern this matter I don't care who they gave it to or shared or sold it to, Jefferson takes full responsibility for these illegal actions..

Consumer Complaint: Jefferson capital is herrassing me. I told to stop calling and I am contacting an attorney. They continue to herrass me with calls that I keep blocking and letters. They opened an account on my credit report without my knowledge or permission. I feel they are stealing my identity as I am already a victim of identity theft in the past. I was not aware they were allowed to open an account under my name without permission.
