Consumer Complaint: the wonderful folks at Jefferson Capital Systems have purchased rights to collect debt against XXXX XXXX ( NOT XXXX XXXX ). and yet they hit my credit report will the debts of a different person. they called dozens of times, would not say what it was about, and last XX/XX/XXXX when going through mail I noticed there was a collections letter from them for XXXX XXXX ( NOT XXXX XXXX ) and yet they put that garbage on XXXX XXXX XXXX credit report & then proceeded to harass XXXX XXXX endlessly over it. here is URL of image of scan of debt collection letter which clearly shows they have the wrong name XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: There are 2 credit accounts for XXXX XXXX on my report currently I disputed for accuracy. I disputed these along with several others that were fraudulently placed on my credit report by that company for accuracy. I disputed these in XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX and did not get a response until XX/XX/XXXX. They did not comply with the time periods to respond to my disputes, they are in violation. I have redisputed this several time for them to remove the credit completely from my report as a result of their neglect to respond to my dispute within the legal time allowed by Law.

Consumer Complaint: I have repeatedly attempted to have the information provided by XXXX to be corrected or deleted. There is an accout from XXXX XXXX XXXX on my credit report that had been SOLD to Jefferson Capital. I then asked Jefferson Capital to validate the debt, they could not and they immediately terminated their collection activity on the account according to the letter they have dated XX/XX/2019. I recieved a letter from Experian on XX/XX/2019, Report # XXXX stating that the information was " UPDATED '' and it was not. If the account had been investigated properly it would be clear that account is no longer in collection and/or deleted. The only change to the report ar in the 2nd " comment : '' area stating " the item was updated from our processing of your dispute in XX/XX/2019. '' If that is true why is Jefferson Capital currently on my report still. And if XXXX contacted the " data furnisher '' and not used the electronic systems that was used in the last dispute, I feel like this account would be deleted as the credit bureaus XXXX has done.

Consumer Complaint: I started out by getting a catalog in the mail anonymously from XXXX XXXX I then impulsively without going through my payee opened up a credit line is my own guardian which I have the ability to do racked up a bill pay you was upset it's all paid off now XXXX sent me the items I ordered then after I ordered them and they were sent to me to return them in good condition they claim they never got them back so they charged me finally wrote off the account to Jefferson capital system 's LLC XXXX XXXX will not negotiate or work with me or my payee they were very unprofessional and dare I say threatening and rude I will never go through them again the interest rate was really high if anybody 's victim they were the criminal and I was the victim because they sent me and reached out to me and targeted me with the credit line and the actual catalog. Also Jefferson capital systems LLC worked with my payee and I only got it all paid off letter of confirmation is coming your way to credit bureaus to listen derogatory Mark of the XXXX XXXX account.

I requested validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, along with the corresponding local state laws of the debt they claim I owe of {$500.00}. Consumer Complaint: I contacted Jefferson Capital about the {$640.00} on my credit report showing as delinquent for a XXXX mobile account, and advised them that I have never had an acct with XXXX and my identity has been previously compromised. I filed a dispute with XXXX in XXXX regarding this same account and recently again with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, and awaiting response. I have had to freeze my credit with the XXXX breach, and with XXXX XXXX and XXXX notifications that my info ( SS ) has been compromised on the dark web. My credit report shows addresses in Louisiana to which I have never lived outside of Texas. I called Jefferson Capital the collection agency, on XXXX XXXX, to discuss/dispute the validity of the {$640.00} XXXX mobile account and and they did not even have my correct information ( name, address, social security, phone number ). I asked the person ( XXXX ), to mail me any documentation showing I opened an account or signed anything and he said they did not do that, and I stated I am not the owner of this account and never have been ( these calls should be recorded in its entirety ). How is it possible to validate putting this on someone's credit report without having their personal information, given this was the 1st phone call with me on XX/XX/XXXX. I have been a customer of XXXX for over 10 years, it states this XXXX mobile account was opened in XX/XX/XXXX. This is not my account nor has it ever been. I'm just looking for any assistance possible, in order to move on.
