Consumer Complaint: I have asked Jefferson Capital Systems to stop contacting me via phone several times. I requested to only be contacted by mail however they repeatedly call. They over talk me and attempt to belittle me. This is not an effective method of trying to get someone to pay a debt. This is illegal and Im getting extremely tired of it.

Upon, further research, this account was transferred or sold and I am no longer responsible for the account. Debtors creditor did not verify this collection. Also, there was NO written form of communication, contract, or signature for this accused debt at all. A bill without a signature does not validate the debt, and anybody can send a bill and say it belongs to me. According to the FCRA, Jefferson Capital Systems has violated my rights as a consumer and Im requesting legal action to remove this account immediately.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted an online on XX/XX/XXXX through XXXX XXXX, to dispute and remove information from the creditor Jeff Cap Sys ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), as this particular creditor has violated my rights and has been renewing and re-shuffling the negative item which is more than 10 years old on my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notification from XXXX XXXX, that the creditor denied my request to remove the item from my report and I saw that the creditor UPDATED the date on the report to reflect this YEAR! The report was showing a date of opening in XXXX before the dispute, and now after the dispute it shows a date of XXXX! I don't have XXXX XXXX as a carrier, I've had XXXX XXXX XXXX for many years and I've been given discounts and recognition for being a matured customer with the company. From the attached credit report that was retrieved in XXXX, anyone can see that they reported this account being closed and opened in XXXX ; however looking at the result from XXXX XXXX it now shows an open date of XXXX! I'm so FED up with these types of creditors and sneaky collections agencies. I've submitted disputes more than once and for over 7-years it has remained on my credit report. I've lost potential employment due to this negative item upon my report in the past and PRESENT. In this time that we are in it's not warranted. I also have NOT been a customer of the creditor for many years now ; in addition, the information and amounts have been inflated and are inaccurate.

The problem is I never authorized the creation of a XXXX account in my name and was never aware of the transactions taking place on that account, seeing as they were from XX/XX/XXXX and they were done without my authorization through the work of a third party email that used my name and other credentials to create a scamming account. When I realized this, I immediately contacted the debt collection agency and was directed to file this report.
